The new product inherits the performance experience of Snapdragon X Elite, but brings stronger power consumption control, the experience far exceeds that of ARM and X86 competitors, and it also has the world's strongest NPC in the PC field, and the AI performance is far ahead.
In terms of specific specifications, Snapdragon X Plus also uses the 4nm process, which can be called a dimensionality reduction blow for the traditional PC field.
Equipped with Qualcomm's self-developed Oryon CPU, there are 10 customized high-performance cores, the highest frequency is up to 3.4GHz, the total cache is 42MB, and the CPU performance is 10% ahead of Apple M3.

At the same peak performance, the Snapdragon X Plus also consumes 54% less power than the competition.
With the integrated Adreno GPU, it can reach 3.8 TFLOPS computing power, supports external three-screen ultra-high-definition 4K 60Hz display, and supports HDR10.
In the WildLife Extreme test, the Snapdragon X Plus outperformed the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H by up to 36% in GPU performance at the same power consumption, and consumed only 50% of the same peak performance on a PC.
According to the official test, the Snapdragon X Plus in Office 365 has a 40% longer battery life than the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, 58% longer web browsing, 89% longer YouTube streaming, and more than 2 times longer for Teams video calls.
On top of that, the Snapdragon X Plus still maintains an NPU of up to 45TOPS computing power, which is currently the world's strongest performance in the PC industry, which can provide strong support in terms of productivity and peripheral functions.
For example, in software development and programming, the NPU computing power of 45TOPS on the terminal side can be used to generate code in real time, and it can also enable rich applications such as image quality enhancement, AI filters, and AI noise reduction.
In terms of connectivity, the Snapdragon X Plus is the same as the Snapdragon X Elite, supporting Wi-Fi 7, high-frequency concurrent multi-connection, sub-6GHz and millimeter wave support, and the maximum speed of 5G reaches 10GB/s.
In other aspects, it also supports 18-bit dual ISP, MIPI camera, Bluetooth 5.4 audio transmission, etc.
In addition, it is worth mentioning that the Snapdragon X Plus will also support Snapdragon Seamless in the future, allowing PCs to seamlessly connect with mobile phones, PCs, XR terminals, wearables and audio devices equipped with Qualcomm chips, and obtain the same interconnection experience as the Apple ecosystem, which is a completely incomparable advantage for other brands.
Qualcomm said that the Snapdragon X Plus will be unveiled and explained at the Taipei International Computer Show on June 3, and the commercial terminal will be officially launched in mid-2024.
