On April 23, the Greater Bay Area Import and Export Commerce Association and the "9+2" Importers and Exporters Association held the strategic launch ceremony of the "Bay Area Power Brand Going Overseas" Greater Bay Area "9+2" Importers and Exporters Association at the 135th China Import and Export Fair ("Canton Fair").

Lin Longan, President of the Greater Bay Area Import and Export Business Association, said at the strategic launch ceremony that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is one of the most dynamic and potential economic regions in China, with the most complete industrial and supply chains. At the same time, under the wave of digital transformation, the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce and the continuous upgrading of consumption capacity in emerging markets have also provided leapfrog innovation and development empowerment for "brands going overseas".

Relying on the platform of the Canton Fair and taking advantage of the opportunity of the "9+2" import and export economic and trade activities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the General Association of Import and Export Commerce of the Greater Bay Area and 12 business associations, including the Macao Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export, the Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export, the Zhuhai Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export, the Foshan Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export, the Jiangmen Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export, and the Zhaoqing Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export, jointly released the strategy of "Bay Area Power, Brand Going to Sea". The strategy includes:

Carry out the "Brand Going Overseas" action plan, organize business delegations, gain an in-depth understanding of overseas target markets, plan to hold the "Silk Road E-commerce" Expo and the Greater Bay Area (Hong Kong) International Cross-border E-commerce Trade Exhibition, and accurately connect with the "Silk Road E-commerce" trade cooperation.

Lin Longan, President of the Greater Bay Area Import and Export Commerce Association, also mentioned in his speech that the strategy of "Bay Area Power, Brand Going Overseas" is not only the common mission and responsibility of the "9+2" Importers and Exporters Association in the Greater Bay Area, but also an important strategic measure to help the Greater Bay Area and Chinese brands go global, which can inject new vitality and impetus into the high-quality overseas expansion of the Greater Bay Area and Chinese brands.
