This year's college promotion is really different, first of all, the exam time is advanced again, there are more than ten provinces that have not taken the exam at this time last year, and there are only 2 left this year.
The second is to speed up the admission process, last year, the provinces were basically admitted at the end of May, and this year many provinces can be advanced to the end of April. For example, in Shandong, the exam will be completed on March 31, the results will be released on April 19, and the admission results will be announced at the end of April. Last year, Shandong was admitted on May 29.
And it is one after another, and the number of applicants in many provinces has decreased.
Judging from the number of exams announced by the provinces of Hunan, Gansu, Tibet, and Inner Mongolia, which just finished last week, there has been a significant decline compared with 23 years.
The number of people in Hunan was nearly 90,000 last year, but only 73,000 this year.
Last year, there were 1,735 people in Tibet, but this year there are only 1,343 people.
The number of people in Gansu was 37,900 last year, and only 28,400 this year.
There were 30,000 people in Inner Mongolia last year, but only 25,000 this year.
This decline is really too large, especially in the two provinces of Gansu and Hunan, which have shrunk by about a quarter.
The number of people in these provinces who completed the examination in March has also decreased significantly.
There are still many provinces where the number of applicants has not been announced, but the expected increase is not enough to catch up with the level of 23 years.
Since the expansion of the college promotion, the number of applicants in most provinces has soared. In 2019, the number of applicants for Henan college promotion was 140,000, and in 2023, it will rise to 238,000.
In 2019, the number of applicants for the college upgrade in Jiangxi was 15,800, and in 2023, it will rise to 86,000, an increase of 70,000.
This growth rate is really terrifying! And the surge in the number of applicants has brought about a decline in the acceptance rate, which has basically declined slightly in the past three years since the acceptance rate reached the "peak" in 2020.
This year, however, the number of applicants has shrunk, and the acceptance rate is expected to rise again with little change in the enrollment plan.
For students in 25/26 years, there are 2 signals. On the one hand, it shows that everyone is more rational about the college entrance examination, and the number of students who blindly follow the trend to apply for the exam has decreased, and the number of effective competitors for the examination has increased.
