On the morning of April 24, 2024, Liao Lijia, member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Xiaojianghu Sub-district Office of Shuangqing District, Shaoyang City, led the Sub-district Emergency Office, the Sub-district Urban Management Office and the Sub-district Emergency Rescue Team to the geological disaster point of Changling Community and successfully held a geological disaster evacuation drill of great significance.
The main purpose of this drill is to improve the ability of community residents to cope with geological disasters, ensure rapid and orderly evacuation at critical moments, and ensure the safety of residents' lives to the greatest extent.
At the drill site, Deputy Director Liao Lijia commanded on the spot, and the street staff and the emergency rescue team cooperated tacitly and carried out in an orderly manner in strict accordance with the predetermined plan. They realistically simulated the occurrence of geological disasters, sounded the alarm in time, and quickly guided residents to evacuate safely to the designated area.
During the whole exercise, the staff showed a high sense of responsibility and professionalism, and the residents also actively participated in the implementation of the requirements of the exercise. Through this exercise, the feasibility of the emergency plan was not only verified, but also the residents' awareness of self-protection and ability to deal with emergencies were enhanced.
