Recently, a reading activity with the theme of "City of Books, Culture Wins" was held in the reading area on the first floor of the New Era Civilization Practice Center of Yongsheng County.
The purpose of this activity is to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Second Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and further cultivate and promote the reading culture of the whole people, improve the cultural literacy of cadres and workers, cultivate the good habit of advocating reading and loving reading, and promote the propaganda, ideological and cultural work to show a new atmosphere and new achievements.
This reading activity carefully planned the "Five Ones" series of activities, through reading, recitation, reading exchanges, special lectures and online reading, etc., so that all cadres and employees can share the cultural feast and feel the charm of reading. The event kicked off with all the staff reading aloud in unison in the anthology of "Ping" Yu "Approaching People - Xi Jinping's Favorite Allusions", and interpreted the classic sentences and historical allusions cited by General Secretary Xi Jinping with an affectionate voice. The classic recitation of "Qinyuan Spring Snow", "To the Oak Tree" and "Former Chibi Fu" allows participants to experience the literary beauty and cultural charm of classic works. At the same time, through in-depth sharing around personal reading experience, everyone can feel the joy and harvest of reading. The special lecture "On the Cultural Resources and Inheritance of Yongsheng Ethnic Minorities" showed the unique ethnic culture of Yongsheng County. Finally, an online reading session was launched. Through online platforms such as "Learning Power" and "Yongsheng Library", students can read independently to better adapt to the new trend of reading in the digital era.
The holding of the "City of Books, Culture Yongsheng" reading activity will further promote the cultural output of Yongsheng County Civilization Practice Center and promote Yongsheng County to move towards the goal of becoming a city of books.
