The project is located in the historical and cultural blocks of Signal Mountain, Wudi Road and Shanghai Road-Wuding Road, Shibei District, and is constructed by Qingdao Beicheng Construction Investment Co., Ltd.
A total of 18 buildings, including No. 22 Hejiang Road D-1, No. 22 Hejiang Road, No. 22 Nenjiang Road, etc., are involved, with a total construction area of about 12,300 square meters.
According to the planning plan, on the basis of an in-depth understanding of the urban context and architectural history, the project design is designed to protect and update the building with minimal intervention in accordance with the principles of authenticity, reversibility, and unity of protection and renewal. Traditional buildings are based on historical drawings to preserve and restore the original style and inherit the memory of the city, while the general buildings respect the historical drawings and adopt a combination of old and new renovation strategies to inject vitality into the old city.
At the same time, the requirements of industrial introduction after building renovation are considered in the function of building use, so as to provide a carrier and create conditions for the introduction of industry after the activation and utilization of historical buildings.
