Will JJ Redick be the next head coach of the Hornets?
Former NBA player J.J. Redick has become a candidate for the head coaching position of the Charlotte Hornets, who has been in the league for 15 years and worked as an analyst and color commentator at ESPN, participating in the commentary of some important games.
He is also one of the co-hosts of two popular podcasts, one of which is a collaboration with Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James called "Mind the Game."
As Steve Clifford moves into a management role, Charlotte will have several interviews in the coming months, including Charles Lee, Kevin Young and others. But in this job, there is no bigger name than Reddick.
To be honest, Redick and James have a very close relationship, and the two are likely to have discussed this matter, let Redick go to the Hornets as head coach, and then James father and son will join this summer, so that James can really control the Hornets' game and take care of James' son to the fullest.

Both men are creative offensive thinkers who already know how to manipulate the defense to reach their goals. Add to that players like Mark Williams and potential Miles Bridges (if he renews his contract with Charlotte) and you have an interesting young team to play in the Eastern Conference.
If James and his son do play with Redick on the Hornets, offense won't be a problem.

After playing, commentating, and analyzing game footage, JJ Redick is one of the brightest minds in basketball. While he didn't spend time on the sidelines like the other candidates, he contributed more to basketball than anyone else.
With several players talking about some moments of their careers on his platform, it's clear that he can bond with the players. He will be in immediate contact with the players. In addition, he has some North Carolina roots, as he once studied at Duke University.
It's certainly a pleasant story, and the attention around the Hornets is set to be at an all-time high.
In terms of the head coach candidates for the Hornets, this is a coin-tossing result.
There is no doubt that Reddick is probably the biggest bet, and there are a lot of bets and objections worth the risk. With new ownership already in place, it is unknown what direction they might try to take.
At the very least, it's a fun way to start a new era.
