A year ago, a dream took root in the Linyi City Library, and the Children's Reading Paradise officially opened to the public on April 23, 2023! Since then, every book, every smiling face, and every moment of warmth has infinite possibilities. A year is not a long time, but we have seen the growth of the children here, the enlightenment of reading, and the happy moments. Whether it's summer or winter vacation, or an ordinary weekday, our reading paradise is always open and waiting for every reader.
Today, we ushered in the first birthday of the opening of the Reading Park, and it is also the beginning of our better service to readers and provide more intimate public welfare activities. We know that the meaning of a reading paradise is not only books and space, but more importantly, to create a happy reading environment for children, so that they can absorb knowledge, cultivate sentiment and improve themselves from reading. Now, a children's space for children to stretch their minds and unleash their imaginations is one year old, so let's look back on her growth process.
The Children's Reading Paradise of Linyi Library includes a parent-child reading area, a dream theater, a creative handicraft area, a smart interactive area, and a reading area for young children. Each area has its own unique features and features, where children can have fun reading, listening to stories, telling stories, participating in crafts, digital experiences, and more.

Parent-child Reading Area:
The parent-child reading area is a reading space created for children by Linyi Library with the theme of growing trees. There are more than 20,000 children's picture books for children of all ages. Under the growth tree, children can sit on the soft sofa and read books with their parents, sharing the joy of reading together. We provide beautiful photo backgrounds and props for children who like to take pictures and share, where children can leave beautiful moments and record their growth and memories.
Dream Theatre:
The Dream Theater is the most lively place in the children's reading park, where professional teachers will bring wonderful stories to the children. Children can also perform on stage and show off their talents.
Smart Interactive Zone:
The Smart Interactive Zone features the latest virtual reality equipment, allowing children to immerse themselves in a variety of virtual scenes and digital worlds, such as exploration, space odyssey, historical time travel, and more. Through these digital experiences, children can learn more about knowledge and culture, and enhance their imagination and spirit of inquiry.
Creative Crafts Zone:
The creative craft area provides a variety of handmade materials, such as colored paper, stickers, wool, etc., so that children can freely use their creativity and make various handicrafts. Children can use their own hands to create a variety of beautiful handicrafts, such as origami, paper cutting, weaving, etc., at the same time, the creative handicraft area also regularly hosts a variety of handmade competitions and exhibitions, so that children can show their talents and creativity, enhance their hands-on ability and creativity.
Early Childhood Reading Area:
Over the past year, the Children's Reading Park has received more than 200,000 readers. 436 public welfare activities were held, and 2,963 children's reader cards were issued.
Public welfare activities include children's storytelling, reading creativity, writing childhood, children's painting, heart language station, children's sunshine growth class, little Chinese medicine, little scientist, I am a pilot and many other aspects.
