On April 23, the official list of all delegations to the 2024 World Athletics Relay Championships was released, and the Chinese team sent 6 men and 6 women to participate, Su Bingtian and Xie Zhenye will appear together again. The Chinese team has been preparing for the competition recently, and the new talent has performed well, and Chen Jiapeng broke the personal best again in the second game of the season.

According to the official news of the World Athletics Relay, the Chinese track and field relay men's team is composed of Chen Jiapeng, Deng Zhijian, Su Bingtian, Wu Zhiqiang, Xie Zhenye and Yan Haibin, and the women's team members include Ge Manqi, Li Yuting, Liang Xiaojing, Liu Guoyi, Wei Yongli and Yuan Qiqi.

The World Athletics Relay Championships will be held in Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, from 4 to 5 May, with 32 teams in each event featuring five events: men's and women's 4×100m, 4×400m and mixed 4×400m relay. The top 14 finishers in each event will qualify directly for the Paris Olympics.

In order to prepare for the World Athletics Relay Championships, the Chinese sprint team conducted trials at home and abroad. Su Bingtian returned to the Chinese team after suffering an injury in the 2023 season. The team then traveled to the United States to prepare for the war. In March this year, the Chinese sprint team participated in the Florida Hurricane University Track and Field Invitational Race, and Xie Zhenye and Su Bingtian formed a relay team and won the championship with a time of 38.99 seconds. Su Bingtian and Xie Zhenye joined forces for the first time in two years and achieved good results.

Subsequently, in the Florida relay race, the Chinese track and field team participated again, and the Chinese relay team composed of Chen Jiapeng, Xie Zhenye, Su Bingtian and Deng Zhijian won the third place in the men's 4×100m relay with the best time of the year of 38.73 seconds. The Chinese women's team, composed of Liang Xiaojing, Ge Manqi, Wei Yongli and Yuan Qiqi, finished sixth with a time of 43.91 seconds.

During training in the United States, China's new sprinters are also making their own breakthroughs. In the men's 100m race at the Tom Jones Track and Field Memorial Race in the United States on April 14, 21-year-old Chinese player Chen Jiapeng, a newcomer in the Chinese relay team, won the first place in the third group with a personal best of 10.08 seconds, and finally finished sixth among all the runners. Chen Jiapeng broke his personal best in his second race of the season, becoming the fifth athlete in Chinese history to break the 10.10 second mark. In the next World Athletics Relay Championships, as well as the Paris Olympics, China's new sprinters will become the fresh blood that the Chinese relay team urgently needs.
