Notice on rewarding the reporting of drug violations and crimes

In order to fully mobilize the broad masses of the people to actively report clues on drug crimes, severely crack down on drug-related illegal and criminal activities, and maintain social security and stability in our city, according to the Office of the National Narcotics Control Commission, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Ministry of Finance's "Notice on Printing <毒品违法犯罪举报奖励办法>and Distribution" (Narcotics Control Office Tong [2018] No. 70), the Chaozhou Municipal Public Security Bureau decided to implement a rewarded report of clues on drug-related violations and crimes. The following notice is hereby given on matters related to rewarding and reporting drug violations and crimes:
<奖励范围>
Anyone who reports drug-related violations and crimes within the jurisdiction of Chaozhou City to the Chaozhou City Public Security Organs, or has given important assistance in discovering and arresting drug-related offenders, detecting drug cases, and preventing and stopping drug-related violations and crimes, the city's public security organs will reward the informants for detecting drug cases according to clues, seizing drug-making dens and workshops, planting drug-derived plants, and smuggling and selling precursor chemicals controlled by the state.
<奖励标准>
Where a report on leads on drug-related violations and crimes is verified to be true by the Chaozhou Municipal Public Security Organs, or important clues are provided to enable the case to be solved, the whistleblower shall be given a one-time reward (calculated in RMB) according to the following standards:
1. Where clues are reported to solve cases of drug violations and crimes, a reward of 5,000 yuan to 200,000 yuan will be given.
2. Those who report drug dens, workshops, or factories that manufacture drugs will be rewarded with 20,000 to 300,000 yuan for each one seized.
3. Anyone who reports the illegal provision or sale of precursor chemicals, narcotic drugs, or psychotropic substances is to be rewarded with 1,000 to 200,000 yuan per case.
4. Where a suspect in a major drug-related crime is reported, the Ministry of Public Security shall reward the wanted drug dealer with a reward in accordance with the amount of the reward;
5. Those who report that opium poppy or marijuana are being illegally cultivated will be rewarded with 5,000 to 20,000 yuan per case.
