In the Internet era, information is developed and information is convenient, but it can be fragmented, disorderly, and interfere with each other. People seem to be hungry for information but lack attention, look forward to shortcuts but have no patience, and like to simply queue up without thinking for themselves.
In the face of the characteristics of the Internet era, I advocate the use of classical traditional reading methods to overcome the symptoms of the times in reading, and at the same time, we must also see that the problems projected into reading in these times cannot be solved by the reading habit of close reading and deep reading, and we must also dance with the Internet era, find depth in the fragments, embed the long line in the short line, build a system in the diversity, and find the way of reading in this era.

Teachers must lead by example and insist on book reading
First of all, teachers should deeply realize that the Internet seems to shorten the distance between people, but in fact, indulging in virtual time and space will exacerbate people's loneliness, and become more distant from historical sages, literature and art. Project-based reading highlights the functionality of reading
"Project-based" reading is an effective way for teachers and students to combat fragmentation and negative reading in the Internet era.
When executing, we prioritize the learning project, and discuss and select the articles, information, and books to be read around the set goals. Teachers and students can use their daily spare time to read freely, and can also hold joint reading meetings and reading exchange and sharing sessions according to the stage of the project. Teachers and students accumulate information in different forms of reading exchanges, summarize opinions, form conclusions that are helpful to the project to meet the standards, and solve problems encountered in the promotion of the project with the help of reading. Quality reading doesn't stop at browsing and acquiring information
In the age of the Internet, it should be emphasized that reading should not stop at browsing and obtaining information. Because reading also has a very important mission, that is, to promote the development of "people". Therefore, quality reading should focus on the following three aspects.
(1) Quality reading is not a general sense of looking, taking a look, and obtaining some information, but on the basis of the original "text", there is a self-diffusion of life.
(2) Our general "reading" does not emphasize "related to oneself", and generally refers to the content "outside oneself", and high-quality reading should strive to establish a personal relationship between readers and the work.
(3) Quality reading is generated because of "encounter", which is to unconsciously turn the part that has been read into a part of oneself, and then give birth to a new departure and arrival along with the development of oneself.

There is reading in the heart, and reading is everywhere in life
In my opinion, no matter what era it is, people need to read. If you want to say "how to keep reading", the answer is also in the question, and that is "persistence". Mr. Zhu Guangqian told young people that whether you can study every day depends not on whether you have time, but whether you have the determination. If you have determination, you can read it—because if you have determination, you can persevere, and if you keep reading, you will read it.
Of course, the "persistence" in this also needs to have a grasp, what to insist on, and how to do it? I think at least the simplest can be three points:
First, I can't move every day, and I can guarantee that I can read a book for 30 minutes. Don't underestimate thirty minutes, a week, a month, a year, it's a lot. Real victories always belong to the long-termists.
Second, in addition to study and research, we should be less utilitarian and more interesting in reading. Everyone loves to read good books, and when they love to read, they will continue to find one good book after another.
The third is to participate in a small reading organization. Everyone reads together, teachers and students read together, parents and children read together, learn to read in sharing, and love reading more in sharing.
There is reading in my heart, life is reading everywhere, and every day is a reading day - no one says that they are persisting in life every day, and reading should be like this.

Networking is good for leading discussions between teachers and students to be professional and in-depth
We are in the era of the third generation of the Internet, which is moving from the second generation of the Internet to the metaverse. The aborigines of this era are the students of the present. In the context of the Internet, many traditional things are being reshaped. The same goes for reading. Paper and digital books, books and non-books, fragmented reading, and whole-book reading are all chaotic and difficult to distinguish from each other.
As a teacher, I often take a blended learning approach to bridge the boundaries between inside and outside the classroom, homeschool. With the help of the Internet, I can closely track and record the reading progress of my students, and I can also use topic communication to detect their reading depth, so as to detect dyslexia and carry out more targeted instructional design. At the same time, the online platform also allows the original one-on-one dialogue between students and teachers to become a collective discussion, where everyone can have a heated discussion on a certain topic, and with the convenience of online retrieval resources, the discussion is constantly led to professional and in-depth.

Make reading a top priority for teachers and students

Secondly, teachers and students should be guided to get rid of their dependence on short videos and games, and "accumulate" in reading, especially the accumulation of excellent traditional Chinese culture. In reading, they have a dialogue with the text to construct an objective world, a dialogue with teachers and students to build a partnership, and a dialogue with themselves to explore their own models.

Reading books will let you know where the "light" is. As for how to read, it varies from person to person, but it is more appropriate. I have three thoughts on how to read:
The first is to be familiar with the essence of thinking. Because of the slow speed, it is difficult to win by self-knowledge, so I choose to read intensively, get an inch is an inch, and strive to know its meaning and use it, so that you can get an inch of joy by yourself.
