In order to improve the health literacy level of special family planning families and establish a health concept, on the morning of April 19, the Family Planning Association of Laocheng Street, together with the Municipal People's Hospital and the Community Health Service Center of Laocheng Street, carried out a health care knowledge lecture and health free clinic activity in the "Warm Heart Home".
At the event site, experts from the city hospital talked about common cancer, tumors and other diseases in clinical practice, focusing on the high-risk groups that are susceptible to this disease, and suggested that if the masses feel unwell in their lives, they should seek medical treatment in time, and they should be screened regularly, and finally put forward methods on how to prevent them. Subsequently, blood pressure and blood sugar were measured for the masses free of charge, and for the people who came to consult, the doctor carefully inquired about everyone's current symptoms, past medical history, medication and daily habits, and gave corresponding conditioning plans for different diseases. During the period, we also popularized the relevant cultural knowledge of Chinese medicine and the concepts and methods of Chinese medicine health care.
The activity popularized cancer and tumor knowledge to residents through on-site education, consultation, and distribution of leaflets, enhanced residents' attention to their own health, and improved the awareness rate of health care knowledge. A total of more than 100 copies of health care knowledge brochures, aprons, leaflets and other publicity materials were distributed.
In the next step, the Old Town Street Family Planning Association will continue to carry out heart-warming actions for special family planning families, and multi-department cooperation will make the "warm home" a spiritual home for special family planning families.
