Officially, the new Aston Martin DBX will go on sale in 2025, while the new car will have a new interior look and other targeted upgrades. Aston Martin's first SUV was launched in 2020, enriching the brand's lineup and contributing to the brand's sales. It is reported that the new car will abandon the base model, only the DBX 707 version will be retained, and production will start in the second quarter of this year, and the official delivery will be made in the third quarter. At present, the official price has not been announced, referring to the current DBX 707, the starting price of the car is 245085 US dollars, and the starting price of the new car is expected to exceed 250,000 US dollars.
As for the interior, the new DBX follows the design style of the DB12 and Vantage, with horizontal design lines separating the dashboard and the infotainment system from the instrument panel and center console. Unlike other modern luxury cars, the DBX retains a plethora of buttons and switches, including those used to control the HVAC system, steering feel, suspension settings, driving modes, and more. In addition, behind the new steering wheel is a 12.3-inch digital instrument display with a 10.25-inch screen in the center, and is equipped with next-generation infotainment software with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities.
Elsewhere, the updated DBX 707 is available in three trim variants: Inspire Sport, Inspire Comfort, and bespoke Q creations. A 14-speaker and 800-watt sound system comes standard and a 23-speaker and 1,600-watt Bowers & Wilkins sound system is available as an option.
Regarding the exterior, the new car remains largely unchanged on the outside, but there are some noticeable tweaks, such as the new car comes with door handles that power outwards when the SUV is unlocked, and new mirrors with flush glass. Five new exterior colours were also added: Epsilon Black, Helios Yellow, Sprint Green, Malachite Green and Aura Green.
In terms of power, the new Aston Martin DBX is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine with 697 hp and 900 Nm, mated to a nine-speed wet clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system, which transmits 100% of torque to the rear wheels. At the same time, the electronic shock absorbers and air suspension have been newly calibrated to improve handling. In addition, the new car comes standard with 22-inch wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes measuring 16.5-inch front and 15.4-inch rear, and optional 23-inch alloy wheels.
