After joining the Communist Party, Zeng Xianzhi actively delivered news to our party and completed a lot of extremely difficult work with his own wisdom.
During her mission, she skillfully deceived the reactionaries with her intellect and contributed her strength to the revolution.
However, her prolonged appearance attracted the attention of the Kuomintang reactionaries, and in 1929, Zeng Xianzhi was captured by the reactionaries who had completed their mission.
Under the coercion and temptation of the enemy, she kept her mouth shut, did not reveal the slightest information about the Communist Party, and was finally rescued on the way to transfer.
After being rescued, due to the increasingly complicated situation in the country, the White Terror was shrouded everywhere, and then she was sent to Japan to study, and in Japan, Zeng Xianzhi, who dared to show his head, was found by the reactionaries and arrested again.
After his arrest, Zeng Xianzhi refused to give in to his death, and his chivalrous spirit greatly deterred the reactionaries. After inquiry, it was learned that she was a descendant of Zeng Guopan, and that the reactionaries respected her family background, coupled with the lack of evidence at the time, Zeng Xianzhi was finally released.
After being released from prison, Tsang Hsien-sik temporarily went to Hong Kong to stand by. At this time, Zeng Xianzhi did not slack off, always waiting for the opportunity to return to his life at any time.
The revolutionary couple had no choice but to go their separate ways

Ye Jianying saw the smart Zeng Xianzhi's flower-like smiling face, and he instantly fell in love with him.

In 1932, Ye Jianying returned from his studies and was entrusted with important tasks. Zeng Xianzhi was very excited to see her husband, who she hadn't seen for a long time.
The organization decided to send Ye Jianying and Zeng Xianzhi and his wife to the Soviet area of the Communist Party of China. In order to give birth to the child smoothly, Zeng Xianzhi chose to go to Hong Kong to give birth, and after the child was successfully born, he was sent to his hometown, and he embarked on the revolutionary journey again, and he also completely cut off contact with Ye Jianying......
Due to the revolution, the two have been separated for a long time, and the relationship has gradually flattened. In 1941, Zeng Xianzhi saw Ye Jianying again, but this time he appeared in front of her as someone else's father.
Looking at the little girl in front of her, she thought of her son, she did not deprive the little girl of her father's love, but left alone without crying or making trouble. Since then, she has been single for 48 years, until her death.
Maybe the last marriage was too dazzling, and it was difficult to turn the sea into water, with Zeng Xianzhi's stunning appearance, there was no shortage of suitors around him. But the man who never caught her eye again, and since then she has devoted herself to the revolution.
Devoted himself to his career, from the official to the deputy ministerial level
In March 1949, the first National Women's Congress was held in Beijing. At the meeting, the All-China Women's Federation was established by vote, and Zeng Xianzhi was appointed deputy secretary general of the preparatory committee.
Later, Zeng Xianzhi supported her as Song Qingling's secretary to participate in the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China, one of the few historical witnesses in ten.
In the following decades, she successively served as deputy secretary-general, secretary of the Secretariat, member of the presidium, secretary of the party committee of the organ, etc., and played the role of the core backbone of the women's federation.
During her tenure, she was conscientious, resolute, honest and just. She once said that she should be a good public servant who does practical things for the people, and resolutely put an end to all extravagance and corruption.
She often worked until midnight and did her duty. In the past ten years, there has never been news of corruption in the Women's Federation, and Zeng Xianzhi has not even had a set of suits that he can handle, which has made the Women's Federation a famous Qingshui Yamen and has been widely praised by people from all walks of life.
As the leader of the Women's Federation, Zeng Xianzhi was vigorous and resolute in his work and dared to point out the mistakes of his colleagues. She dared to realistically raise the issue that rural primary schools were not suitable for the implementation of the boarding system, successfully avoided the hasty launch of immature plans, and protected the vital interests of women and children.
But outside of work, Zeng Xianzhi's attitude towards his colleagues is warm and kind. She has also completely let go of the leadership frame in life and mingled with her colleagues.
People will also affectionately call her "Ah Zeng", which comes from Chairman Mao's name for her, and she left a deep impression on Chairman Mao as a student of Chairman Mao's old friend Xu Teli.
