From April 19th to 21st, the 2024 Academic Annual Meeting of the 2nd Higher Vocational Education Professional Committee of the Hunan Medical Education Science and Technology Society was held in Taoyuan County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.
The Higher Vocational Education Professional Committee of Hunan Medical Education Science and Technology Society is a teaching community organization under the guidance of the Hunan Provincial Health Commission, which mainly carries out academic research, exchanges, popularization, consultation, continuing education and training, and medical-related evaluation.
The conference was hosted by the Hunan Medical Education Science and Technology Society, and jointly organized by the Second Higher Vocational Education Professional Committee of the Hunan Medical Education Science and Technology Society, Loudi Vocational and Technical College and Taoyuan County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.
The conference invited Zhu Yimin, deputy secretary of the party group and deputy director of the Provincial Health Commission, Li Guoqing, member of the party group and deputy director of the Loudi Municipal People's Government Office, Ma Jiyun, deputy secretary of the Taoyuan County Party Committee and county magistrate of the county people's government, Wang Yu, a fourth-level researcher of the Vocational Education Department of the Provincial Department of Education, Yu Jiangli, director of the training center of the Provincial Health Commission, and chairman of the Higher Vocational Education Professional Committee of the Provincial Medical Education Science and Technology Society. Wu Minquan, President of Changsha Health Vocational College, Zhang Zhenglan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Loudi Vocational and Technical College, Xu Huohong, Deputy Director of the Science and Education Department of the Provincial Health Commission, and Jian Ying, Deputy County Mayor of Taoyuan County People's Government, attended the meeting.
Yang Bisheng, Secretary of the Party Group of Taoyuan County Health Bureau, Jin Jianxiong, Vice President of Loudi Vocational and Technical College, Li Zhigang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Taoyuan County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and members of the leadership team attended the meeting. Experts in vocational education and medical education inside and outside the province, representatives of affiliated hospitals, clinical teaching hospitals, representatives of school-enterprise cooperative enterprises and hospital staff representatives attended the meeting.
The conference is divided into three parts: the opening ceremony, expert lectures, and experience exchange.
At the meeting, Zhu Yimin, deputy secretary of the party group and deputy director of the Provincial Health Commission, delivered a speech and pointed out that it is necessary to grasp the direction of medical and health reform in the new era, and all colleges and universities should do a good job in science popularization and scientific research, and display innovative ideas and achievements. It is hoped that more educational and academic exchange platforms will be built to promote the development of higher vocational colleges and hospitals, and make due contributions to a healthy Hunan. At the same time, he gave a keynote lecture on "Medical and Education Collaboration to Promote High-quality Development".
Li Guoqing, member of the party group and deputy director of the Loudi Municipal People's Government Office, delivered a speech, pointing out that Loudi City adheres to the strategy of giving priority to the development of education, closely follows the overall goal of building a healthy China, and effectively promotes health work, and the high-quality development of health and education in the city has reached a new level, affirming the achievements made by Loudi Vocational Institute in implementing the spirit of the relevant documents of the national medical and education coordination.
Ma Jiyun, deputy secretary of the Taoyuan County Party Committee and head of the county people's government, delivered a speech, pointing out that he would take this conference as an opportunity to deepen the construction of the medical talent training system, continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with universities and medical institutions, and accelerate the high-quality development of Taoyuan County's health industry through resource sharing and academic exchanges.
Wang Yu, a fourth-level researcher of the Vocational Education Department of the Provincial Department of Education, delivered a speech on behalf of the Provincial Department of Education and congratulated the convening of the conference. He hoped that all sectors of society would continue to support the development of health vocational education in our province, form a joint force for the development of health vocational education, cultivate more and better high-quality professional talents who adapt to the era of information technology and intelligence, and transform them into new quality productivity of "strengthening the health of talents" and "rejuvenating Hunan with talents".
Wu Minquan, chairman of the special committee and president of Changsha Health Vocational College, made a summary of the work of the society in 2023 and a work plan for 2024.
From April 20th to 21st, the annual meeting held a series of expert lectures and carried out experience exchanges between universities and hospitals.
Professor Hu Jianzhong, former deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president of Xiangya Hospital, gave a lecture on "Healthy Growth - Campus Practice and Thinking of Internet + Medical Education Collaboration", Professor Zhang Shaohua, Executive President of the Huaxia Foundation Project School Collaboration Association, gave a lecture on "School-Enterprise Cooperation, Digital Intelligence Empowerment - Practice and Innovation of Digital Transformation of Medical and Health Vocational Education", Professor Shen Yinghui, Deputy Dean of the School of Nursing of Yueyang Vocational and Technical College, gave a lecture on "Focusing on the Development of Health Reform and Innovation Services", and Professor Chen Qiang, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Yongzhou Vocational and Technical College, gave a lecture on "Horizontal Integration, Vertical Penetration, Rational and Practical Proficiency, and Teacher-Student Connectivity - Exploration and Practice of the "Double Instructor" System for Job Internship in Yongzhou Vocational and Technical College", Xu Chuanhong, Director of the Science and Education Department of Taoyuan County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, gave a lecture on "Medical Education Joins Hands to Shape Medical Talents", and Nie Yue, Medical Education Department of Changsha Third Hospital, gave a lecture on "Strengthening Medical and Educational Coordination and Strengthening Clinical Teaching Management in the Later Period".
After the meeting, the guests visited the rehabilitation medicine department, classrooms and student dormitories of the hospital, and praised the collaborative work of the hospital's medical education.
Taoyuan County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine has carried out in-depth cooperation with Yiyang Medical College and Loudi Vocational and Technical College in accordance with the spirit of "deepening the collaborative reform of medical and education" in the country, focusing on further promoting the integrated development of medical and health care and education.
