Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park is a strategic node of the national "Belt and Road" and the Yangtze River Economic Belt. In 2016, in order to actively respond to the national policy and local government planning requirements, and to better provide energy supply for the Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park, PetroChina decided to start construction of a gas station here. Due to its special geographical location, the gas station was named "Silk Road Gas Station". In September 2018, the Silk Road gas station was officially completed and put into operation.
"Our station is the first station of the Yuxinou International Railway Hub Port, the first station of the bonded logistics distribution center in Southwest China, and the first station of the national 'Belt and Road' strategic node. There are 3 gas stations in the park, and we have the best location. Xie Lu proudly introduced us.
In the past six years, the Silk Road gas station has taken the initiative to integrate into the overall development situation, actively undertaken the important task of ensuring the oil consumption of enterprises in Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park, and resolutely provided a steady stream of energy guarantee for the construction of the national "Belt and Road" and the construction of the new land-sea corridor in the western region.

In order to better serve the enterprises in the park, the Silk Road gas station has thought of a lot of ways over the years. In recent years, the Silk Road gas station has vigorously promoted the cooperation intention with the government of Shapingba District and High-tech Zone by finding out the key projects, key points and strategic locations, actively seizing the new highland of retail, and using the quantitative change of the network to promote the qualitative change of development. Since the establishment of the station, it has always maintained an average annual sales volume of more than 10,000 tons of refined oil, and in 2023, the sales volume of refined oil products of Silk Road gas stations will reach 16,400 tons.

In January 2024, the charging business of Silk Road gas stations was officially launched. The charging area is equipped with two 180 kW dual-gun fast charging piles, which can truly achieve 30-minute fast charging and can provide services for 4 new energy vehicles at the same time. Since the charging business was put into operation, the total charging capacity of Silk Road gas stations has exceeded 163,000 kWh, and the daily charging business has reached more than 40 trains.
