There are more than 210 varieties of peonies in the whole garden, mainly distributed in Mayfang, Spoon Garden, Nine Colors Tongxian and other places. Among them, the peony varieties in full bloom include Silver Silk Guanding, Island Brocade, Luoyang Red, Zihong Palace, Yellow Crown, Island Minister, etc.; In the garden, peony, peony, evening primrose, moon season, rose and so on compete to bloom.
The Mayfang (formerly the Splendid Pavilion) in the park is scientifically designed and adopts the leading intelligent temperature and humidity control technology in China to regulate the flowering period. The workshop is equipped with new materials and refrigeration equipment such as shade nets, sunshine panels, and light-transmitting cotton to ensure that the workshop has sufficient natural light and maintains a low temperature, so that the peony grows slowly, accumulates and grows, and ensures that the peony flowers are bright and the petals are crystal clear. More than 3,500 plants of more than 100 varieties of high-quality peonies at home and abroad covering nine major colors and ten major flower types are planted in Mayfang, in addition to the traditional varieties of Fengdan, the first case of infrared, as well as the "Spring Willow", "Silver Silk Top" and "Chuwu" that were popular in the early stage of the whole network, etc., and there are more peony varieties with northwest characteristics, such as bloodstone, Longyou Erqiao, Baizhang Bing, etc., which can allow tourists to enjoy all kinds of peony treasures. There are more than 220 varieties of peonies in the whole garden, mainly distributed in Wangcheng Spring Morning, Moon Gate and other places. The varieties of peonies in full bloom include Lilac Purple, Hillary, Yellow Crown, Golden Pavilion, Haihuang, Fame, Spring Willow, etc., and the first peony varieties are Jinhuang, Batsla, Black Phoenix, Pink Graffiti, Yellow Graffiti, Lollipop, Lemon Dream and so on. In the park, woody incense, obscenity and alpine peony sun, island brocade, Manjiang red, Luhe red, Luoyang red, green screen hidden jade and so on compete to bloom.
✅ Sui and Tang City Ruins Botanical Garden:
There are more than 100 varieties of peonies in the whole garden, mainly distributed in the Nine Color Garden, Hundred Gardens, Science and Technology Park, Characteristic Gardens and other places. Among them, the peony varieties in full bloom include Yulou Diancui, Assorted Jin, Xueying Peach Blossom, Jindao, Chunliu, etc., and the peony varieties in full bloom include Jinhuang, Batsla, Hillary, Lilac Purple, Lemon Dream and so on. In addition, peony, hydrangea viburnum, and obscene fruit bloom in the Qianzi Peony Garden.
✅ International Peony Garden:
There are more than 380 varieties of peonies in the whole garden, mainly distributed in Huaxia Garden, Splendid Garden, Nine Colors Garden and Wanfang Garden. Among them: the blooming peony varieties include Fushan Stone, Shimano Teng, Black Pirate, Black Douglas, Xugang, Weng Lion, Haihuang, Changshoule, etc.; In the park, ice heart, love (red purse peony), yellow thorn rose, obscene, golden catalpa and so on compete to bloom.
✅ Tianxiang Peony Garden:
There are about 17 varieties of peonies in the whole garden, mainly distributed on the east side, north side, west side and center of the south gate. The main varieties are Shengdan furnace, purple blue kui, Shengge scarf, new national color, spring willow, sun and moon brocade, Hu Hong, green screen, Kao, first case red, small butterfly, Yulou Diancui, black panther, sea yellow, Jinge, bean green, Jinzhi and so on. In the garden, peony, poppy, chrysanthemum, torch lotus, false dragon head grass, echinacea, dahlias, drunken butterflies, cherry blossoms, lilacs, peaches, begonias, etc. compete for beauty.
✅ Shenzhou Peony Garden:
There are more than 230 varieties of peonies in the whole garden, mainly distributed in the national flower bed, the boutique viewing area, and the south side of the Tianxiang Hall. Among them, the peony varieties in full bloom include Yellow Crown, Yellow Cuiyu, Pond Dawn Moon, Curly Leaf Red, White Jade, Red Spot White, Star, New Sun and Moon, Fangji, Lotus Crane, etc.; The 2024 China Luoyang First Shenzhou Peony Wanhua Festival and International Peony Cut Flower Fair was grandly opened, with more than 100 flower arrangement works on display.

There are about 40 varieties of peonies in the whole garden, mainly distributed in the nine-color flower field, peony flower sea and other areas. The main varieties are Yao Huang, Bean Green, Green Fragrance Ball, Green Screen Hidden Jade and so on. In addition, more than 20 imported high-quality peonies, such as Julie, Aaron, Red Charm, Mini, Beauty Bowl, and Coral Charm in the International Peony Zone, have just opened, and Yueji, Iris, and Rose are in full bloom in the park.

Recently, Luoyang International Peony Garden has used the cultivation technology to promote the early opening of two peony and peony hybrid varieties of garden treasures (pictured). Due to their rarity, these two garden treasures are placed in the Visitor Center for visitors to enjoy up close.
