On the afternoon of April 21, the "April Reading for Love" immersive reading public welfare challenge jointly launched by Xi'an released the "Public Welfare Xi'an" column, Shaanxi Chunshan Education Foundation, Xi'an Beilin District, Yanta District, Weiyang District, Xincheng District, Chang'an District Library, and 18 reading spaces, and held an award ceremony for readers at the Weiyang District Library in Xi'an.

At the ceremony, 40 caring readers who participated in the event and completed the 3-hour reading challenge were invited, and Li Mingzhen, director of Xi'an Publishing Department, Xia Ni, chairman of Shaanxi Chunshan Education Foundation, and Zhang Jianwen, director of Weiyang District Library, presented activity certificates and book blind bags to everyone on the spot.

In the interactive session, all the guests recited "Will Enter the Wine" under the guidance of the reciters, and felt the mountains and rivers poems of Chang'an together on this April day in the world. Finally, Wang Yongjun, co-founder of Fanshu App (formerly Fan Deng Reading), brought a public lecture "The Power of Reading" to everyone, sharing the methods and skills of reading with the readers, which benefited everyone a lot.
Some readers said that they took advantage of this activity to visit all the major libraries in Xi'an, and some readers sighed that it was a more contagious and wonderful experience for everyone to sit and read together. Some readers said that they had never thought that they could deliver books to rural children through reading before.

In addition to the 400 children's books raised through the Caring Readers Reading Challenge, the event also collected 200 idle children's books donated by caring people through designated book donation points. The above 600 books will follow the "Rural Library and Reading Promotion" project of Shaanxi Chunshan Education Foundation to many rural schools in Shaanxi.
