Li Shulei, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and director of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Zhu Yongxin, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and executive vice chairman of the Central Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, attended the meeting.

The guests at the meeting said that it is necessary to focus on promoting the construction of a strong country and the great cause of national rejuvenation with Chinese-style modernization, strengthen reading guidance, guide people to study the works of General Secretary Xi Jinping in depth, read more ancient and modern Chinese and foreign classics, and better unite the spiritual strength of unity and progress.
