It is a great honor to be able to represent the Party School of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region (District School of Administration) to come to Shigatse to receive the "Scholarly Unit" award. In recent years, in the process of promoting reading for all, we have made full use of digital resources and book resources to improve the knowledge level and cultural literacy of Party school students. In the future, we will take this event as an opportunity to further guide the majority of students to develop the good habit of loving reading, reading good books, and being good at reading.
These farmer's bookstores have not only become "convenience stores" for farmers and herdsmen to obtain knowledge, but also "wisdom houses" for rural revitalization and "gas stations" for spiritual enrichment. Although reading is a personal behavior, the recommendation, interpretation and sharing of "reading promoters" have brought more good books into the public eye, making reading gradually become a habit of people's lives. At the event, awards were also presented to the 10 "most beautiful reading promoters" in Tibet selected throughout the region.
Ban Dan Jiumi, head of Lhasa Zhajiulin Braille Translation Co., Ltd., said that he was deeply honored to receive the award of "The Most Beautiful Reading Promoter". This award not only reflects the support and attention of the party and the state to the cultural cause of the blind, but also affirms his efforts over the years. In 2017, Bandan Jiumi founded the first braille book translation company in the region, Zhajiulin Braille Translation Co., Ltd., which is committed to providing more convenient reading resources for blind friends in our district, so that blind people can easily access rich reading materials like normal sighted people, enjoy the fun of reading, and gain knowledge and improve themselves.
