"Since 2020, we have put forward the educational goal of 'shaping a childhood with memories and the ability to grow and take away', hoping to develop students' abilities through the transfer of knowledge within 40 minutes. We promote it from three aspects: environment, curriculum and activities, so that children can apply in the beautiful campus, experience in the beautiful curriculum, and develop their abilities in wonderful activities. Yang Shuya, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the New Town Primary School Affiliated to Southern Normal School, said, "At present, we are constantly optimizing the campus environment, softening the hard buildings, so that students can find some beautiful moments worth remembering at the corner of the campus; A series of activities such as the carnival allow children to leave good memories of campus life. ”

"To run a school rooted in the memory of students, we treat every rural child with this concept, and we also use this concept to receive many urban students. So far, more than 600,000 urban students have come here to experience rural life, and more than 10,000 foreign teachers and students have come here to learn Chinese culture. It is precisely because of a good memory in the depths of their memories that this school has gathered more people's attention. Yang Ruiqing, Chief Principal of Xingzhi Education Group in Pukou District, Nanjing, said, "The process of establishing the school is beautiful and unforgettable. In 1987, we planted a grove in the school, and later a writer wrote a non-fiction children's novel "A Grove" for this purpose, and became the winner of the "Bing Xin Book Award". This grove has left a lasting and beautiful memory in the minds of the students. We also planted a tea garden in the school, and took students to experience the process of tea picking, tea planting, tea picking, roasting tea, and tea tasting, which is a very good cultural experience. ”

In the afternoon, the round table continued in the secondary and primary school sections. Representatives from 23 primary and secondary schools, including Yan Simin, Vice Principal of Singapore North Shore Primary School, Zhou Weidong, Secretary of the Primary School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University, Chen Feng, Secretary of Nanjing No. 13 Middle School, and Zhong Liping, Secretary of Nanjing Ninghai Middle School Branch, made keynote speeches respectively, and conducted extensive and in-depth exchanges and discussions around the theme.

Zhou Peng, deputy director of the Nanjing Municipal Education Bureau, pointed out that to run a school rooted in the deep memory of students, we should always focus on the fundamental task of education of cultivating people with virtue, closely follow the core literacy, base ourselves on the present, face the future, and contribute to the construction of the city. He pointed out that the key to running a school rooted in the depths of students' memories lies in the teaching team; to make every effort to promote the professional growth of teachers, principals should pool their wisdom and find ways to provide more and better research-oriented services and innovative guidance for teachers' growth; principals should strengthen their own construction, vigorously carry forward the spirit of educators, and form the school's educational characteristics of "taking root in the depths of students' memories".
