From January to March 2024, the new contract value signed by MCC was RMB316.95 billion, a decrease of 2.7% over the same period last year, of which the new overseas contract value was RMB18.73 billion, an increase of 151.3% over the same period last year. In fact, judging from the statistics of big data of infrastructure communication, since entering 2024, it is obvious that there are many fewer domestic bid-winning projects than in the past. Therefore, I think it should not only be China Metallurgical that has a year-on-year decline, but also other construction central enterprises should be in this situation. In the first quarter, the most prominent thing in the first quarter of China Metallurgical was the explosive growth of new overseas contracts, which also demonstrated the strong operating strength of China Metallurgical Overseas.

At the beginning of March 2024, Weng Zuliang, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of China Minmetals, and Guo Wenqing, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, met with Mao Weiming, Deputy Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Hunan Province, on March 1, and held friendly talks on further deepening mutually beneficial cooperation.
