On April 22nd, the official launch of Jietu Shanhai T2 ushered in a heavy spring rain in Beijing. When it comes to water, it will be sent - this brings a good omen to this new product of Jietu. Despite the metaphysical component, it has indeed become one of the fastest-growing car brands in China over the past few years.
Especially in hardcore off-road vehicles, shortcuts are an instant hit. Its flagship product, the Jet Traveler, is currently one of the hottest products in the off-road vehicle market. Now, in the new energy sequence, Jietu has also brought a hard-core off-road product T2. The new model will be available in three variants, with prices ranging from CNY 179,900 to CNY 209,900. Based on the Kunpeng super hybrid C-DM, the Jie Tu Shanhai T2 realizes the perfect combination of superhybrid technology and "square box", and has the advantages of core products such as high energy saving, large power, safer, and full-speed range.
In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, intelligent assisted driving, 540-degree panoramic image, DMS fatigue driving monitoring, 6.6kW external discharge and other functions. In terms of power, the new car is powered by the fifth-generation ACTECO 1.5TGDI high-efficiency hybrid engine, with a maximum power of 115kW and a maximum torque of 220Nm. The hybrid-specific engine has a thermal efficiency of 44.5% and a fuel consumption of 6.4L/100km.
In terms of transmission system, the car uses a three-speed DHT transmission, paired with a 43.24kWh battery pack provided by CATL, with a pure electric range of up to 208 kilometers and a comprehensive range of more than 1,300 kilometers. At the same time, the car motor adopts dual motor settings, the system has a comprehensive power of 280kW and a comprehensive maximum torque of 610 Nm.
In terms of off-road ability, Shanhai T2 also has an approach angle of 28 °, a departure angle of 30 °, a minimum ground clearance of 205mm, and a wading depth of 700mm. In terms of intelligence, the car is equipped with L2.5 level intelligent driving assistance, 540° panoramic image and DMS fatigue driving monitoring function, providing users with full-dimensional safety protection, and the first owner's lifetime warranty for the whole vehicle shows the absolute confidence of Jietu in the quality and safety of Shanhai T2.
In terms of vehicle safety performance, Shanhai T2 adopts a steel cage body structure, with high-strength steel accounting for up to 80%, and adopts integrated laser tailored welding, the torsional rigidity of the vehicle body reaches 32000N·m/deg, and the strength reaches the "submarine-level" hardness, which is higher than the new Land Rover Defender;
In addition to body safety, in terms of battery safety, Shanhai T2 uses CATL cells with high thermal resistance, and the power battery has undergone 400+ rigorous tests such as vibration, impact, extrusion, fire, immersion, high-pressure flushing, bottom ball strike, and bottom scraping before loading. In addition, the T2 is also equipped with a 2mm thick high-strength steel battery bottom guard plate on the chassis, which can resist 30km/h bottom scratches.
The new car has a 6.6kW high-power external discharge function, which can supply power to on-board induction cookers, refrigerators, coffee machines and other electrical appliances, and has a 24-hour parking air conditioning function, plus 20+ travel ecological scenes and 50+ ecological products, allowing users to have sufficient functions to meet different needs in different scenarios of travel life.
In addition to T2, this time, more exhibits of Shanhai T series were also displayed, including Shanhai T1, Shanhai T5, Shanhai P5, Shanhai T7, etc. In the product planning of Jietu, these four products will form the "Five Tiger Generals" of hybrid off-road with T2, which is the representative of the new product portfolio of Jietu Automobile in the 3.0 era.
Among them, Shanhai T1 is positioned as a fashionable off-road super-hybrid SUV, based on Kunpeng super hybrid C-DM technology, and is expected to be officially launched in the second half of this year. The car will be a fashionable and hard-core styling, and will provide a rich body color scheme and a variety of modification ecology, equipped with a 1.5TGDI hybrid engine and a 1DHT hybrid transmission, as well as an XWD fully automatic intelligent four-wheel drive system and 450kW of the strongest electric four-wheel drive in its class, which will provide new options for travelers.
The Shanhai T5 is a full-scene intelligent off-road super-hybrid SUV, which is the first model with a girder of Jietu Automobile, which is equipped with a 2.0TGDI longitudinal hybrid engine for the first time, with the latest generation of hybrid gearbox and "three locks", bringing strong power performance and super ability to get out of trouble. The Shanhai P5 will be an all-road travel off-road pickup, leading the pickup off-road fashion with hard-core mecha aesthetics and expanding more possibilities for travel.
And the T7 is even more powerful. At the scene, Jietu released a video of Shanhai T7 crossing the river, which directly shocked the audience. It is reported that Shanhai T7 will have the strength of amphibious and floating water navigation, and is a standard "wild survival beast"; the new car will also be equipped with a plateau intelligent oxygen chamber and an armored body, which is comparable to a million-level hard-core off-road strength.
With the support of a series of new products, the market of Jietu continues to explode. In the first quarter of this year, the cumulative sales volume of Jietu reached 107,476 units, ranking second among the top 20 brands in China's passenger car and SUV market in terms of year-on-year growth. It is expected that by the end of April, Jietu Auto will achieve cumulative sales of 1.1 million units in 68 months. Facing the 3.0 era, in the next two years, Jietu Auto will successively launch 15 new products, covering the whole scene from family travel to off-road travel, becoming a representative brand of Chery off-road, and achieving the goal of annual sales of 1 million units by 2026.
