Graphic design
As Kingston's most ace major, graphic design is stronger in practicality and commerciality than Lunyi and Huangyi, it may not be the most cross-border and subversive, and it is indeed the easiest to help you find a job.
Graphic design has two main features:
First, it will allow graphic design to break through the limitations of "plane", guide students to dig deeper, understand the role of visual design in the situation, and form a new design.
The second is to focus on personal research, in-depth cultivation of students' own personal style and way of expression, and guide students to create design works that can resonate on the basis of in-depth understanding of different cultures.
The school works across design disciplines such as: speculative design, information design, sustainable design and branding, visual identity, design pedagogy, interaction design, film, photography, typography, exhibition design, user experience, editorial design (digital and print).
Illustration animation
Kingston's bachelor's and master's degrees in illustration and animation are ranked No.1 and No.2 respectively in the 2020 Guardian Arts and Crafts Rankings, which is one of the few colleges that combines illustration and animation in the same major, guiding students to explore the ways of illustration and animation creation with an open attitude, and to express art with critical thinking.
Kingston's undergraduate program is compatible with both illustration and animation, and it was not until his junior year that he subdivided his direction. Therefore, in addition to illustration, students will also learn about other artistic fields such as interaction, space, visual communication, and traditional crafts.

Interior design
Interior design at Kingston is all about the vibrancy and meaning of the design. In the education, students will be guided to design more innovative and thought-provoking interior environments, and continue to develop their design skills through rich practice, so as to create more creative and practical space designs that are in line with modern life.
Filmmaking
Grounded in the practice and study of neorealist film, visual storytelling, participatory documentary, and underground cinema, this filmmaking course enables students to develop filmmaking skills using digital devices as well as knowledge of contemporary film theory. Emphasis is placed on developing clear and simple storytelling techniques that transcend any formal categorization of drama, documentary, or genre.
Students are encouraged to synthesize personal experience, critical knowledge, and craft skills to express themselves through film, and learn filmmaking theory together through hands-on workshops
