The high-profile special plan for the Oriental Hub and surrounding areas was announced a few days ago, covering Huinan, north to the Chuanyang River, west to the Hulu Expressway, south to the Dazhi River, and east to the coastline, with a total area of about 510 square kilometers. The area includes Zhuqiao, Huinan, Chuansha, Xuanqiao, Laogang, Heqing, Tangzhen, Zhangjiang and other towns. The plan clearly proposes to build the Oriental Hub and its surrounding areas into a new benchmark for international open gateway hubs in the new era.

In this planning, the central area of the Oriental Hub has attracted the most attention as we often call the detailed planning of 7.3 square kilometers, and the planning scope of the central area is Wenju Road-Lukou Road in the north, Chuannanfeng Highway in the west, Shenjiahu Expressway in the south, and Pudong Airport Weichang River in the east.
The total scale of construction land within the planning area is about 693 hectares, mainly for business office, commercial land, residential land and R&D land, of which the international business cooperation zone is mainly land for urban development and construction.
