At the annual big market in Shiyan Town, the crowds are crowded, the food is fragrant, and it is not lively. In this crowd, several uniformed "stall owners" are very different. It turned out that this was the cadres and policemen of the Shiyan Court of the Dongtai Court who came to the bazaar to carry out legal popularization propaganda.
As soon as the two popular law stalls in the center of the market were erected, they were surrounded by enthusiastic uncles and aunts. "What is your stall selling?" "Pension fraud, neighborhood conflicts, land disputes, marriage and family, we have answers to the legal issues you care about!"
In front of the "law popularization booth," the masses who came to consult, listen to legal knowledge, and receive propaganda materials came one after another, and the court officers and police officers did not sit idle for a moment.
In order to fully mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of the masses to participate in the study of legal knowledge, court officers and police officers have shown "small tricks" for popularizing the law, combining legal knowledge with entertainment elements, so that the masses can immediately extract legal issues and win legal publicity gifts, and strengthen the masses' awareness of the rule of law in the course of explaining the law through cases, learning through play, and entertaining.
"I really didn't expect to learn legal knowledge by visiting a night market, your court is really 'down-to-earth'!" said an aunt who had just finished consulting on legal issues. Eating food, visiting night markets, listening to music, taking photos, and learning about the law are all enjoyable.
At 9 o'clock in the evening, the crowd of people rushing to the market gradually dispersed, and the popular law stall, which had been "open" for 4 hours, was also ready to close. Several students stopped in front of the booth and said, "Children, do you know what school bullying is? If you encounter illegal infringement, you must ask teachers, parents, and police uncles for help!" The judge used a simple, straightforward, and homely way to turn French into a language that the masses can understand and remember, so that legal knowledge can truly enter the hearts of the masses and integrate into their lives.
In the next step, the Dongtai Court will continue to adhere to and develop the "Fengqiao Experience" in the new era, further give play to the functions and roles of the people's courts, and continue to introduce judicial services with novel forms, rich contents, and suitable for the needs of the masses, so as to transmit the power of the rule of law to the "nerve endings" of grassroots governance, and effectively respond to the new expectations and demands of the people.
