The dark local authorities in Taiwan have long since become sinners of history and the nation by defecting to the United States and Japan, losing their power and humiliating the country! In the past, the local armed forces in Taiwan often relied on the weapons and equipment of the United States and the West that they had bought at high prices to show off their might and take pride instead of being ashamed! This can be seen from a recent "confrontation" that took place near the Penghu Islands, an inherent territory of the mainland.
Recently, according to information from relevant departments of Taiwan's local armed forces, the frigate "Zhang Jian" (board number 1109) of Taiwan's "146th Fleet" stationed at the Magong Base in the Penghu Islands was carrying out a so-called "reconnaissance and patrol mission from south to north" in the waters west of the Penghu Islands in the early part of 22 April. As a result, the "Zhang Jian" frigate encountered the PLA Type 052D destroyer "Lishui Ship" (ship number 157) sailing from north to south in the waters west of Penghu, and the two ships immediately launched a naval confrontation in the relevant sea areas.
It is worth noting that although the "Zhang Jian" frigate was manufactured by Taiwan itself, in fact it is completely a "copy" of the "Perry" class frigate that the US Navy has long since decommissioned. Whether in terms of design and appearance, or the configuration of shipboard weapons, or related ship technology, it is the same as the "Perry" class frigate of the United States. Therefore, this "Zhang Jian" frigate can actually be regarded as an "American frigate" assembled in Taiwan using American technology!
The ship was commissioned in the 80s of the last century, and it has been more than 20 years since then, and the weapons and equipment equipped with can basically be seen in the US Navy: such as the Phalanx close defense system, the Standard-1 anti-aircraft missile, etc. The most powerful weapons of this type of ship are four "Hsiungfeng-2" anti-ship missiles (the US military's "Harpoon" anti-ship missiles are based on an improvement) and the same four "Hsiungfeng-3" anti-ship missiles (the core technology mainly comes from the "small ram test missile" developed by the United States in the 70s of the last century).
This "Zhang Jian" was very arrogant at one time, and not only did it brazenly go out of the waters west of the Penghu Islands near the mainland side of the motherland, but even the Taiwan media said that at that time, the PLA thought that this "Zhang Qian" was too close to the "Lishui ship," and this shows the degree of its rampantness! However, this frigate, which is basically full of American technology, may have been able to flaunt its might 20 years ago, but now the times have changed, and if this "Zhang Jian" frigate dares to act aggressively in the face of the powerful PLA, then it will inevitably be attacked by us." Teach to be a man"!
Sure enough, seeing that this "Zhang Jian" frigate was so "unruly," our army's powerful Type 052D destroyer "Lishui" directly reprimanded it, and our army bluntly said: China's Taiwan 1109 ship, I am the 157 ship, please pay attention to your position! It can be seen that our tone and attitude are completely the attitude of "parents reprimanding their children," and this undoubtedly shows our army's powerful aura and military self-confidence.
Of course, the root of our military's self-confidence is based on military strength! The "Lishui Ship" has a displacement of more than 7,000 tons, and it is an improved version of the 052D. The hangar has been lengthened and the radar has been replaced, completely crushing the Taiwan military's "Zhang Qian" frigate in terms of firepower tonnage. Although the "Zhang Jian" frigate armed in Taiwan has anti-ship missiles with US technology, it is completely unable to break through the powerful "China Aegis" missile defense system of our destroyers. On the contrary, the advanced YJ-18 supersonic anti-ship missile equipped with our 052D can easily sink the "Taiwan military" ship at a speed of more than Mach 3!
To sum up, it can be seen that the overall strength of our armed forces has completely surpassed that of the local armed forces in Taiwan, and the so-called "resisting reunification by force" that they are frantically clamoring for is nothing more than "childish words"!
