The exterior design of the 2024 Haval Raptor remains the same as the current model, with two new exterior colors, Storm Yellow and Ink Jiangnan Gray, and the tire width has been increased from 245 mm to 255 mm and 265 mm, and the tire thickness has been increased by 21 mm.
In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the 2024 Haval Raptor are 4800/1950/1843 mm, respectively, and the length remains the same compared to the current model, with an increase of 34 mm in width, an increase in height of 21 mm, and a wheelbase of 2738 mm. The car offers AT tires (265/60 R18), roof platforms, side ladders and other accessories suitable for off-road scenarios.
According to the official introduction, the car's passability has also been improved, in the case of 19-inch rims, the approach angle is 25 degrees, the departure angle is 32 degrees, the longitudinal passing angle is 20.1 degrees, the minimum ground clearance is 210 mm, and the wading depth is 580 mm. For reference, the current model has an approach angle of 24 degrees, a departure angle of 30 degrees, a longitudinal passing angle of 19 degrees, a minimum ground clearance of 200 mm, and a wading depth of 560 mm.
The 2024 Haval Raptor adds a new black rice interior to the car, providing a full LCD instrument cluster and a floating central control screen, the sub-instrument panel is equipped with a mobile phone wireless charging function, and the gear lever shape adopts a family-style design, and the overall interior layout and configuration are basically the same as the old model.
Haval officially said that the interior of the 2024 Raptor uses a new low-crystalline PP material. The 2024 Haval Raptor will come standard with 11 driver assistance sensors, and provide an optional L2+ driver assistance function with 26 sensors, which can realize functions such as NOH high-speed navigation assistance.
In terms of power, the 2024 Haval Raptor is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and dual front and rear electric motors, of which the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine has a maximum power of 123 kW and a peak torque of 243 Nm, and the front and rear dual motors have a maximum power of 70 kW and 150 kW, respectively, and a peak torque of 160 Nm and 350 Nm, respectively.
The 2024 Raptor continues to offer lithium iron phosphate batteries with a capacity of 19.09 kWh and 27.54 kWh, corresponding to NEDC pure electric range of 102 km and 145 km respectively (WLTC pure electric range of 81 km and 115 km respectively), DC fast charging peak charging power of 33 kW and 41 kW respectively, and the full range of support power is 3.3 kW DC fast charging.

As the only compact plug-in hybrid SUV with a hard-core style design within 200,000 yuan, the sales performance of the Haval Raptor was good in the early days of its listing, but it has declined significantly recently. Although the Haval Raptor has certain particularities, users with a car purchase budget of 150,000-200,000 yuan will be more concerned about the cost performance, compared with BYD, Changan, Geely, Chery and other brands in the same level, without considering the off-road ability, the cost performance of the Haval Raptor is slightly inferior.
