"This year, our cooperative's rice planting area in Zhongtian Town is more than 800 mu, all of which are transplanted by machine. Xiao Dongsheng, head of Lezhi County Lewangzi Rice and Fishery Professional Cooperative, told reporters that machine transplanting saves time and effort, and more than 800 acres of rice can be planted in about 15 days.
It is reported that in order to ensure the smooth progress of rice planting, Zhongtian Town has integrated more than 20 sets (sets) of large-scale agricultural production machinery in the town, built 4 new irrigation stations and supporting pipe networks, and fully guaranteed the needs of agricultural production, with a planned planting area of 9,900 mu of rice and 1,000 mu of regenerative rice in 2024.
