In order to crack down on illegal crimes such as cross-border naked chat extortion and telecommunications network fraud in accordance with the law, the public security organs and the Lao police have continued to carry out international police law enforcement cooperation, and recently successfully smashed three criminal dens located in the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone in Laos, and arrested 250 Chinese criminal suspects. At present, the relevant personnel and items involved in the case have been successfully handed over to us through the Xishuangbanna border port in Yunnan. This is another important result achieved by the in-depth law enforcement cooperation between the police of the two countries, which has dealt a severe blow to the arrogance of criminals. In November 2022, in the process of investigating a naked chat extortion case, the public security organs of Zhoukou City, Henan Province, found that a criminal group led by Liu and others organized people to set up dens in Myanmar and Laos to carry out illegal and criminal activities such as cross-border naked chat extortion and telecommunications network fraud against mainland citizens, and the amount involved was huge. The Ministry of Public Security attached great importance to this, and immediately organized the public security organs in the area involved in the case to dig deep and conduct in-depth research and judgment, and gradually ascertain the organizational structure of the criminal group and the location of the criminal den. On the basis of grasping the facts and evidence of the relevant crimes, the public security organs have recently notified the Lao police of relevant clues through international police law enforcement cooperation. The Lao police quickly organized law enforcement forces to carry out a unified investigation of the criminal dens in the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone, arrested 160 target criminal suspects, 90 online fugitives, and seized more than 990 mobile phones and more than 270 computers. At present, the Ministry of Public Security has deployed public security organs in Henan, Zhejiang, Yunnan, Guizhou, and other places to escort criminal suspects back in an orderly manner and make every effort to investigate and handle the cases.
