Case 2

Wake up! Don't sleep!

At about 4:50 a.m. on April 15

At the intersection of Xinggang Road and Longshan Road in Yuhuan City

A small car occurred together

Unilateral accidents that hit a signal light pole

It is understood

Driver Zhou did not get enough sleep due to early work

It caused the vehicle to deviate and cause an accident

Let's talk about it in detail

Those things that are tired of driving

01

Recognize drowsy driving

Driving fatigue refers to the phenomenon that the driver's driving skills decline objectively due to lack of sleep, fatigue of physical state or after long-term continuous driving, resulting in the imbalance of physiological and psychological functions.

Wake up! Don't sleep!

Article 62, Paragraph 1 (7) of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China: Driving a motor vehicle shall not do this: driving a motor vehicle continuously for more than 4 hours without stopping for a rest or stopping for a rest period of less than 20 minutes.

02

The hazards of drowsy driving

When the driver is tired, there will be blurred vision, backache, sluggish movements, swollen hands and feet, lack of concentration, slow response, incomplete thinking, sluggishness, anxiety, impatience and other phenomena.

When the driver is slightly fatigued, there will be untimely and inaccurate gear shifting;

When the driver is in moderate fatigue, the operation is sluggish, and sometimes even forgets to operate;

When the driver is in severe fatigue, he or she often subconsciously operates or sleeps for a short time, and in severe cases, he will lose control of the vehicle.

Wake up! Don't sleep!

Ensure adequate sleep the day before driving and don't stay up late;

Pay attention to the combination of work and rest, do not drive for more than 4 hours during the day, and then stop and rest for at least 20 minutes. If you need to drive at night, do not drive for more than 2 hours continuously;

Arrange driving time scientifically, try to avoid driving at night, especially in the early morning, and pay attention to avoid afternoon during the day;

When traveling long distances, try to find a partner and take turns driving;

Avoid driving in one position for a long time to avoid fatigue caused by muscle stiffness, and adjust your sitting posture and take deep breaths while driving;

If you experience fatigue or drowsiness while driving, open the window to breathe fresh air or drink a refreshing drink such as coffee. The safest way is to stop in the service area, get out of the car and move the muscles such as waist and legs, neck and shoulders, and wait for the fatigue to relieve before hitting the road.

Taizhou traffic police reminded again

When sleepiness sweeps over the body

Be sure to rest in the right place in time

Gas stations, service areas

They are all physical "supply stations" for drivers

There are many hidden dangers of fatigue driving, and the harm is great

The moment you close your eyes is the moment when danger strikes

It's better to have no accidents than big things

It's better to arrive quickly than to arrive early
