On April 22, Shanhai T2, a new energy product series of Jietu Automobile, was officially launched. The new model is priced at CNY 179,900 to CNY 209,900 and will be available in three variants, positioning itself as a compact plug-in hybrid SUV.
In terms of appearance, the Jietu Shanhai T2 adopts the most popular "square box" design in the Chinese SUV market. In fact, this new car can be seen as a plug-in hybrid version of the Jet Traveler. Thanks to the fashionable and retro "square box" shape, the Jet Traveler has been sought after by consumers since its official launch at the end of September 2023, becoming one of the most popular off-road SUVs in the Chinese auto market, with an average monthly sales of around 10,000 units.
With the successful experience of the Jet Traveler, the Shanhai T2 also completely inherits the outstanding "square box" shape of the Traveler, coupled with the Chery Kunpeng super hybrid C-DM technology, on the basis of having outstanding appearance, it also has strong and efficient power performance, making the comprehensive product strength of the vehicle more complete and powerful.
In the interior, the Jie Tu Shanhai T2 also continues the cabin layout of the minimalist style of the Voyager, and creates an off-road style temperament through the straight line of the bridge.
In terms of configuration, Shanhai T2 is equipped with a new 10.25-inch full LCD instrument screen + 15.6-inch floating central control screen, and is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip as standard to provide super computing power. In terms of functions, the intelligent interconnected car machine supports: AI intelligent housekeeper, four-zone voice partition wake-up recognition, facial recognition, Internet of Vehicles, APP store, WIFI hotspot, FOTA intelligent upgrade and other mainstream functions.

The plug-in hybrid system is composed of a 1.5TD DHE hybrid engine + 3DHT transmission + lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The system has a combined maximum power output of 280 kW and a peak torque of 610 Nm.
Depending on the battery pack capacity, the Jie Tu Shanhai T2 has two 129KM endurance models and a top-of-the-line 208KM endurance model. Among them, the 129KM version is equipped with a 26.7kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack provided by China Innovation Airlines, with a CLTC pure electric range of 129 km, and the 208KM version is equipped with a 43.24kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack provided by CATL, with a CLTC pure electric range of 208 km. In the state of full fuel and full power, the comprehensive cruising range of Shanhai T2 can exceed 1300 kilometers.
