Forge elite soldiers, joint casting defense line
Representatives of the "Rongguang" volunteer service team of retired soldiers of Shanghai Institute of Technology went to the martyr Li Zhuyi Monument of Shuguang Middle School to carry out the Qingming Festival Sweeping Activity of "Paying Tribute to the Heroes and Martyrs in the Qingming Season, Remembering the Ancestors and Sending Condolences". With the solemn national anthem playing, all the personnel lined up neatly and stood solemnly in front of the martyrs' monument to pay high tribute to the martyrs who died bravely. All the staff paid silent tribute to the martyrs who had been buried around the monument and presented flowers to express their endless sorrow and deep remembrance to the martyrs.
Retired military volunteers participated in the joint evacuation and resettlement drill of the population in Bansongyuan Road Street in Huangpu District and the Bay Tourism Area in Fengxian District. The group came to the home of Jin Hulong, an ideological and political instructor of retired soldiers, and successfully completed the key drill subjects of centralized reception, resettlement and material support.
Spring snail checking, health escort
In order to prevent the spread of schistosomiasis and further improve the professional ability of the snail inspection team, retired military volunteers actively participated in the spring snail inspection activities. After listening carefully to the training on the theoretical knowledge of snails, and having an in-depth understanding of schistosomiasis and schistosomiasis control, the volunteers entered the Palm Beach community under the guidance of the staff of the PCO company to conduct on-the-spot snail inspections, carefully investigate the situation in the waters by the pond, strictly prevent the breeding of snails, and protect the health of the people.
Hand in hand to protect the environment
Retired military volunteers participated in the World Earth Day theme activity of "Party and Masses Work Together to Protect Clear Water and Blue Sky" and the "Red Coastline" Party Member Public Welfare Practice Activity to jointly protect the beautiful coastline. Retired military volunteers walked along the "Seagull Road Double Support Theme Demonstration Section - Women's Militia Outpost - Kite Field - Longteng Pavilion" and cleaned up a large number of glass bottles, plastic bags, foam and other marine garbage. Volunteers participated in environmental protection knowledge quizzes, domestic garbage frisbee classification, teamwork collective water intake, and the co-creation of puzzles in Shangmei Bay, and volunteers worked together to create a Shangmei Bay with "clean water, clean beaches, fish and gulls, and harmony between people and the sea".
On this spring day, the retired military volunteers in the bay tourist area sacrificed the heroic martyrs to feel the spring light, helped the residents of the community to bathe in the spring breeze, and brought the travelers of the shoreline to the spring, so that love continued to play in the spring overture.
