GESP recently announced that it will hold its sixth certification on June 29, and registration is open from now until June 18.
Compared with other programming exams, the GESP certification organized by the China Computer Federation since last year not only has professional guarantees, but also runs through the 40-year-old NOI activities, which is a very important new path for students who plan to develop scientific and technological specialties for a long time to enter the CSP-J/S semi-finals.
According to the GESP and CSP-J/S articulation policy, students who score 80 or above in GESP Level 8 can enter the CSP-J/S Improved Level Retest without the initial examination, and students who score 60 points or above in GESP Level 8 can enter the CSP-J/S Entry-Level Retest without the initial examination.
GESP certification needs to start from the first level of certification, each certification reaches 60 points, the next quarter can apply for the next level, and up to 90 points can skip one level to register for the next certification.
Many students started to participate in GESP certification early last year, and in the last two GESP sessions, many students have entered the Level 8 exam, obtained good results, and obtained the qualification to enter the CSP-J/S Upgrading Semi-finals without the initial entry. For these students, the rest of the pre-competition time this year can be fully prepared for the retest, and there is no longer a need to distract from the investigation of the initial test and the retest.
It is recommended that students who are still waiting for GESP certification start participating as soon as possible. GESP is not only a good opportunity for their own programming learning, but also for students who have not participated in GESP before, if they start the test from Level 1 this time, they can also catch up with the CSP-J/S re-examination qualification (Level 1→ Level 3→ Level 5→ Level 7→ Level 8 before next year's competition.
