Although technically this is a plug-in hybrid, the battery capacity of the car is only 6.1 kWh, and there is no official mention of a pure electric range. Instead, the focus of the battery is on performance, and for this, Mercedes keeps it at an optimal temperature in order to consume the maximum amount of power when needed.
