Aritco Milan Design Week is a Nordic fairy tale

Every year during Milan Design Week, Milan gathers designers from all over the world and becomes the center of the design world, an event that sets the tone for future trends in interior design, architecture and more. Known for its forward-thinking thinking, Milan Design Week 2024 takes place from April 15 to 21 with an emphasis on sustainability and innovation, showcasing creative designs that improve living spaces without compromising on style or sustainability.

This week-long celebration of design includes trade shows, events, and exhibits across the city, including design variants from Mosca Partners – showcasing designers and concepts that blend innovation, sustainability, and design. In Design Variations 2024, a 3,000-square-meter garage just a short walk from the cathedral is transformed into an interactive display of unique installations created by several leading international designers, architects, artists, and more.

In this dynamic environment, Aritco is proud to present a special exhibition titled "Fairy Tales", with a booth design that captures the essence of Scandinavia, blending nature, design and technology in a stunning display. This unique installation also introduces some exciting new features to the S-Series home elevators.

FAIRY TALES: ALEXANDER LERVIK AND ARITCO

This interactive display was created in collaboration with Vimec, Aritco's authorized partner in Italy, and Alexander Lervik, a renowned Scandinavian designer who designed the S-Series home elevator and its many customizable design features. This unique exhibition transports visitors to the lush forests of Scandinavia, inviting them into a magical land of trolls and princesses.

Drawing inspiration from legendary Swedish painter and illustrator John Bauer and Swedish ethereal landscapes, Aritco uses the home elevator not only as a means of mobility but also as a canvas for personal expression.

Fairy tales come true

At the heart of the Aritco exhibition was the debut of the latest incarnation of the S-Series home elevator. With enhanced customization options, Aritco is setting a new standard for home accessibility solutions. Multi-storey home owners will have more options to personalize their home elevators, including the ability to apply any image or pattern as a DesignWall art backdrop, and choose from more carpet, lighting, and panel options to achieve the interior aesthetic of their dreams.

This ability to customize isn't just about aesthetics; It's about creating a personal narrative at home. The new S-Series home elevator offers more customization options, enabling owners to create their own unique fairytale environment.

"Milan Design Week is the world's largest event for design media and architects. We look forward to showcasing the latest customization possibilities for S-Series home elevators to journalists and architects from around the world." A unique feature that no other home elevator on the market can achieve. To break the hustle and bustle in Milan, you need to be creative. We brought the full story of the forest from Scandinavia to Milan and are delighted to welcome visitors to experience a 'fairy tale'", says David Schill, Global Marketing Director at Aritco.
