It means that Li Keran has made a great breakthrough in the ink technique of landscape painting, which is mainly manifested in the innovation of the ink accumulation method, which breaks the expression form of the traditional landscape ink method. Qi Baishi believes that innovation must return to life, return to nature, and seriously explore in life, which is in line with the concept of Qi Baishi's painting, and also deeply feels that Li Keran has the potential to become a master in the painting world, so he will teach everything he has learned. In the years of getting along, Qi Baishi felt like a white horse, and cherished the teacher-student friendship with Li Keran.
This "This is the self" seal is Qi Baishi's deep feeling that Li Keran has been silently painting, not affected by the secular world, relying on his own self-spirit to create a strict method of landscape painting, and slowly accepted by the art world, so this chapter is given as a sign of encouragement. It is conceivable that after Li Keran got this seal at that time, he must have felt like meeting a bosom friend, and there were other words "Zhibai Dyeing Ink" on the seal. Meaning: Qi Baishi and Li Keran's ink painting techniques are blended, and the friendship between teachers and students can be passed down through the ages. This thing is a celebrity maker, a gift to a celebrity, and it is a masterpiece sung by two painting masters.
The seal stone is blue and black, the seal is "this is the self", the strokes are like a knife cutting axe, very rich in muscles and bones, and the side wall has "the title can be dyed white stone Weng". Qi Baishi is a giant of modern Chinese painting, this is Qi Baishi's gift to his disciples, calligraphy and painting master Li Keran, Li Keran, a native of Xuzhou, Jiangsu. He is an outstanding painter and poet in modern China, and a disciple of Qi Baishi. Li Keran has been fond of painting since he was a child, and learned to paint landscapes at the age of 13.
