April 20 is the day when the foundation stone of the National Northwest Agriculture and Forestry College was laid. On this special day, the Shanghai Alumni Association of Xinong University lit up the top of Shanghai for the alma mater and sent sincere blessings.
On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the founding of Northwest A&F University, the Shanxi Alumni Association donated 10 sets of agricultural culture sculptures to the alma mater. On April 19, the donation ceremony was held in the Expo Park.
This group of agricultural culture sculpture groups reflects a series of scenes such as traditional agricultural iron plough ox ploughing, sowing, receiving, warehousing, processing, transportation, etc., vividly reproduces the traditional farming methods, shows the longevity and depth of farming culture, and carries the precious wealth of Chinese farming civilization. This group of farming culture sculptures is displayed in the farming experience area of the Expo Park, which not only adds materials and enriches the content, but also plays an active role in carrying out the inheritance of farming culture and popularizing agricultural science knowledge for teachers, students and the public.
More than 100 people attended the donation ceremony, including the heads of the Celebration Office, the Alumni Office, the Education Development Foundation, the School of Economics and Management, the School of Landscape Architecture, the Expo Park and other departments, representatives of the Shanxi Alumni Association, the Baoji Alumni Association, and the student representatives of the School of Landscape Architecture.
