On both sides of the riverbank, from the transformation of rain and sewage diversion of urban drainage pipe network to the remediation of urban and rural black and odorous water bodies, from the advanced treatment of wastewater in industrial parks to the treatment of agricultural non-point source pollution, from the ecological restoration and management of rivers and lakes to the optimization and adjustment of industrial structure, various engineering projects of "one clear water into the Yellow River" are stepping up construction or putting into operation, which ensure the stability and improvement of the natural ecosystem of the Fenhe River Basin, and carry the expectation and confidence of realizing the Fen River "one clear water into the Yellow River" as soon as possible.

Quwo County, Linfen City, in the lower reaches of the Fen River, is named after the water. "The water of Yang, the white stone is chiseled. Plain clothes Zhu Xiang, from the son Yu Wo. The "Wo" in the Book of Poetry refers to today's Quwo County, where the Fen River, the Huhe River, and the Fu River all flow through the territory of Quwo.
The comprehensive water ecology and saline-alkali land management project in the Quwo section of the Fenhe River Corridor is restoring the beauty of the past. In the past, whenever the flood season came, the water level of Quwo Taizi Beach and Fenhe Beach rose, and the water was difficult to retreat, causing farmland to be submerged and property damaged. The water ecology and saline-alkali land comprehensive treatment project is not only an ecological project, but also a need for people's livelihood. The project is expected to be completed in October 2025, and after completion, it will improve the regional flood control and waterlogging capacity and regional sewage treatment capacity, beautify the riverbank environment, and enhance the regional water ecology.

Houma City, adjacent to Quwo County, is the venue for the pledge meeting of Shanxi Province and the commencement ceremony of the province's "One Clear Water into the Yellow River" project. At the site of the Huhe River Ecological Restoration Project in Houma City, a wide river channel stretching for several kilometers has been basically leveled, and the entire project will be basically completed in June 2024. At that time, the integrated design of waterfront linkage and city-water integration will restore the natural ecosystem of the river and both banks, and realize the "ecological Huhe River", "smart Huhe River" and "humanistic Huhe River".

Rivers are changing, and watersheds are alive. The "One Hong Clear Water into the Yellow River" project has implemented the ecological transformation of the riparian zone of rivers and lakes, ecological water replenishment and the recovery of the mother river, built artificial wetlands, and carried out comprehensive management of small watersheds, so that the Fen River can restore life and the basin will regain its vitality.

The project is around and the masses have gains
Since last summer, many citizens living near Xinghua Street in Wanbailin District, Taiyuan City have found that despite many heavy rains, Xinghua Street has not seen the phenomenon of water accumulation in previous years, and the rain has receded quickly, and the road surface has been smooth. This is thanks to the Xinghua Street Road Drainage Project, which started construction in January 2023.
"After the rainwater pumping station is put into operation before the flood season this year, it will completely solve the problem of water accumulation in the rainy season around Hing Wah Street. Niu Ruihao, the person in charge of the Xinghua Street project of Taiyuan Municipal Public Facilities Construction Management Center, introduced, "Through this transformation, the problem of sewage overflow and waterlogging in the Xinghua Street area in recent years will be fundamentally solved, and at the same time, the road traffic capacity will be improved, and the urban high-standard amusement park and road landscape belt will be created, so as to enhance the happiness, sense of gain and security of the surrounding residents." ”
As with the Xinghua Street Road Drainage Project, a large number of projects are close to the masses.
In Hejin City, Yuncheng City, the construction project of the second sewage treatment plant will mainly solve the collection and treatment of sewage in the east side of Xingeng Street in Xingeng District, the central urban area, and will directly improve the local people's feelings about waterlogging and slow domestic sewage treatment after the water trial is completed in June 2024. Also in Hejin City, 33 of the 72 sewage treatment stations planned for the construction of the rural domestic sewage comprehensive utilization project have been completed and put into operation, benefiting 94 villages in 8 townships (towns and streets), and the 39 sludge treatment centers under construction and 1 sludge treatment center will basically achieve full coverage of rural sewage treatment.

In Wenshui County, Luliang City, one of the key tasks of the "One Flood of Clear Water into the Yellow River" project -- the pit pond treatment project is in full swing. Now into the elephant village of Wenshui County, the black and smelly pit pond in the past has been transformed into a flood mitigation pond, not only clean and beautiful, but also built a smooth trail around, the surrounding villagers said that there is water and flowers here in summer, there are ducks swimming in the pool, looking for food, the elderly, children like to come here to cool off, has become a "lake view" loved by the villagers.
The project is around, and the masses have gains. When arranging and deploying the construction of the "one clear water into the Yellow River" project, Shanxi should pay close attention to the transformation of rain and sewage diversion of the urban drainage pipe network, focus on the source treatment of residential areas and unit courtyards, and vigorously promote scientific fertilization and large-scale healthy breeding, and promote the construction of rural domestic sewage treatment facilities by classification, so as to ensure that the people have more sense of harvest when realizing the "one clear water into the Yellow River".
If the foundation is built again, there will be more hope for it
The Fenhe River Basin is an area with a relatively high level of economic development and a relatively dense industrial economy in Shanxi Province. Shanxi has laid a solid foundation and made great efforts in the project of "One Flood of Clear Water into the Yellow River", focusing on major basic tasks and projects such as the optimization and adjustment of industrial structure and the advanced treatment of wastewater in industrial parks, and coordinated the promotion of carbon reduction, pollution reduction, green expansion and growth, so as to effectively protect and develop in the process of development, and lay a solid foundation for the further improvement of the water quality of the Fen River.
Lvliang Xiaoyi is an important economically strong county in Shanxi Province, ranking among the top 100 in the country for many years, and is an important coal, coke, metallurgy, and power producing area, but limited water resources and extensive water treatment have restricted local economic development to a certain extent. The Zero Discharge Project of Salt Crystallization under Construction of the Sewage Treatment Plant of Xiaoyi Economic Development Zone, undertaken by Baowu Water Xiaoyi Co., Ltd., uses industrial wastewater as a "mineral deposit" and excavates resources, which plays a key role in ensuring the stability of wastewater in the industrial park and achieving low-carbon near-zero discharge.

At the beginning of the design and construction of the power plant, China Resources Power Xinzhou Company planned the diversion and drainage system of industrial wastewater, domestic sewage and rainwater in the plant area, which truly realized the comprehensive utilization of rainwater and effectively saved water resources. "The governance and protection of the Fen River is of great significance, and we must do our best to protect the water source of the Fen River and protect the clear water. Born by water, the harmony between man and water has always been the most beautiful picture. On the basis of nearly 30 billion yuan of funds in place for the 285 projects of "one clear water into the Yellow River", this year, Shanxi will arrange about 5 billion yuan of funds to support 133 projects of "one clear water into the Yellow River" to ensure that by 2025, the Fenhe River basin will basically achieve the goal of "abundant water, good water quality, and beautiful scenery", and ensure that "one clear water enters the Yellow River".
