Beijing News According to the @WTT World Table Tennis Federation, the ITTF World Rankings for the 17th week of 2024 have been released.

In men's singles, Chinese players Wang Chuqin, Fan Zhendong, Ma Long, Liang Jingkun and Lin Gaoyuan ranked in the top five. 

 2024 ITTF Macau Men's World Cup champion Ma Long rose one place to No. 3, runner-up Lin Gaoyuan rose three places to No. 5, Anton Carlberg rose one place to No. 12, setting a new career high. Assal rose two spots to No. 14 to set a new career high, Hayasuke Togami rose four places to No. 21 to set a new career high, WTT Regional Tournament Haver 2024 Men's Singles champion Maharu Yoshimura rose six places to No. 43 and Álvaro Robles rose nine places to No. 49. 

 Among the other Chinese players, Lin Shidong is ranked 16th, Zhou Qihao is ranked 22nd, and Xiang Peng is ranked 40th. 

 In women's singles, Chinese team players Sun Yingsha, Wang Manyu, Wang Yidi, Chen Meng, and Chen Xingtong ranked in the top five. 

 The 2024 ITTF Women's World Cup Semifinalist Zhang Benmei rose four places to No. 8, setting a new career high, Bruna Takahashi rose two places to No. 18, WTT Regional Tournament Haver 2024 Women's Singles Champion Lee Eun-hye rose 10 places to No. 37, setting a new career high, Sutasini Savitabt rose 17 places to No. 42, and Brett Illand rose 10 places to No. 74.

 Other Chinese players, Kuo Man is ranked 22nd, Qian Tianyi is ranked 25th, He Zhuojia is ranked 44th, Li Yake is ranked 46th, and Shi Xunyao is ranked 47th.
