Sparrow's Philosophy of Life and Freedom (Ten Lines) Poem / Zhou Yanfeng
*
I adopted a sparrow that had been injured by a child's slingshot
Its grumbling eyes asked me to apologize to it on behalf of humanity
It barely eats a few grains of rice and a few small worms
Thank you for saving my life
When the wound heals, it will no longer eat my prison food
Fluttering and dashing in the tiny sky of the cage
It is born with the understanding that "life is precious, and freedom is more valuable"
I learned it the day after tomorrow, and I am ashamed to know but not to do it
