After the passage of this bill, the Chinese mainland side was very dissatisfied, but Taiwan's defense department was grateful to the United States, and at the same time, the situation in the Taiwan Strait became tense again.
In order to cope with the current complicated situation in the Taiwan Strait, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) on the mainland has once again stepped up combat readiness patrols near the Taiwan Strait in recent days. On the evening of 21 April, nine PLA fighter planes appeared near the Taiwan Strait, and at the nearest time they were only 42 nautical miles away from important cities in Taiwan's interior.
When talking about the current situation in the Taiwan Strait, a retired lieutenant general of the Taiwan Air Force said in the program that the PLA has now seen the loopholes in the defense of the Taiwan region, and as long as the PLA is willing, they can break through Taiwan's defense within 3 minutes and bomb the so-called "presidential palace" with a decapitation!
Lai Qingde is about to take office, and the situation in the Taiwan Strait is extremely tense!
As the date of 20 May is approaching, the time for Lai Ching-te to officially take office as the supreme leader of the Taiwan region is also gradually approaching, but the media and various political parties on the island do not hold out any hope for Lai Ching-te to come to power, and some well-known media people even believe that Lai Ching-de's coming to power may be the beginning of the demise of the Taiwan region.
This is because almost everyone can clearly see the current comparison of military strength between the two sides of the strait, although the United States is still making small moves of one kind or another in an attempt to convince the DPP authorities in Taiwan that the United States will absolutely not abandon the DPP once a war breaks out in the Taiwan Strait.
But in fact, anyone with a discerning eye can see that the United States no longer has the courage to clash with the PLA in the Taiwan Strait, and all they want to do now is to let Taiwan's DPP authorities become their agents in Asia to fight a war with the PLA that is not destined to win!
And Lai Qingde, a "hardcore Taiwan independence" element, does not seem to care at all whether the United States will support Taiwan to the end, and for the sake of his political career, he is determined to follow his American master to the end, so it is very likely that after Lai Qingde takes office, he will prompt the PLA to enter the countdown to the reunification of Taiwan by force!
After the United States announced the relevant news and Taiwan's defense department responded with the so-called Thanksgiving Dade, the mainland side showed our dissatisfaction with this matter with practical actions.
Last week, PLA aircraft and warships moved frequently in the Taiwan Strait, and on April 20 alone, the PLA dispatched 21 sorties to the vicinity of the Taiwan Strait, 14 of which flew over the so-called "center line of the strait."
Moreover, some PLA fighters continued to turn and fly towards the main island of Taiwan after flying over the southern part of the Penghu Islands. The PLA planes of the mainland arrived near Kaohsiung in the south and Keelung in the north, approaching two important port cities on the island of Taiwan in the south and north around Keelung Port.
When they were only about 40 kilometers away from the island, the mainland's military planes turned around and did not continue to approach the main island of Taiwan after achieving their patrol objectives, but it was the PLA's not radical and exploratory move that caused a large number of air defense positions on the island to be alarmed, and fighter planes in the Taiwan region even rushed into the air to monitor and intercept them!
The mainland patrol operation may be escalated!
Talking about the move of the Continental Army planes in the program, retired Lieutenant General Zhang Yanyan, former deputy commander of Taiwan's Air Force, said that the reason why the Continental Army planes are patrolling more and more frequently and closer to combat readiness around the Taiwan Strait is to make Taiwan's defense departments slowly accept the fact that the Continental Army aircraft, warships, and unmanned aerial vehicles frequently operate around the Taiwan Strait.
The People's Liberation Army (PLA) wants to use such a wolf story to make Taiwan's defense department further reduce its vigilance against the aircraft and warships of the Continental Army, and then on the day when the mainland is truly preparing for military reunification, the PLA will be able to instantly break through the defense line set up by Taiwan's defense department.
Zhang Yanyan also said that now the mainland has found a loophole in the defense line of Taiwan's defense department, and as long as the Continental Army wants to do it, they can break through the air defense network of the Taiwan region within three minutes, and drop precision-guided bombs on the so-called presidential palace to carry out a decapitation operation against the leader of the Taiwan region!
Zhang Yanyan also said that the speed at which the fighters of Taiwan's defense department take off is far from keeping up with the speed of the PLA military planes, and it now takes six minutes for the fighters of Taiwan's defense department to take off at the earliest, while the mainland PLA has already completed its combat readiness goal within six minutes and left easily.
Moreover, the PLA Navy and Air Force have patrolled Taiwan so frequently that the air defense units and air force of Taiwan's defense department have been overwhelmed, and the mainland can use different fighter planes to attack and harass Taiwan in batches, and at the same time carry out the task of combat readiness, it can also achieve the effect of training, and even the PLA has brought the relatively backward Su-27SK and other old fighters to Taiwan to carry out the task of combat readiness patrol in order to train all its troops.
However, the Taiwan authorities' fighter planes and air force pilots are limited, and even if we do not count the wear and tear of the plane's service life caused by the frequent take-off of the Taiwan military's fighter planes to drive them away from surveillance, the pilots are still miserable just because the pilots perform their tasks with high intensity.
In addition, the increasingly tense relations between the two sides of the strait and the possibility of a conflict that may break out at any time have made many air force pilots prefer to sacrifice their own interests and leave the army early rather than carry out such high-intensity combat readiness duty.
At present, there is a large shortage of pilots in the Taiwan military, and some people with flying skills and experience would rather retire from the army and join the civil aviation than serve Taiwan, the "Taiwan independence" authorities!
Therefore, judging from the frequency of the PLA's current combat readiness cruises, it may not be long before the PLA takes the initiative to attack, and the defense department of the Taiwan region will collapse on its own!
