The porcelain produced in Jingdezhen during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty is famous for its blue and white, red glaze and sweet white porcelain. Yongle has the so-called "all materials are fine, blue and white are the most expensive", and its achievements are called "the unprecedented wonder of the opening generation". Among them, Yongle blue and white porcelain can be called the darling of the collection world, because the market value is expensive, so there are many imitations.
In addition to the high-end imitation of the official kiln of the Qing Dynasty, the fake products and fakes of the Republic of China period and the present are flooding the market, which is dazzling.
So, how to avoid confusion in the dating and not be blinded by fakes?

In 1982, the Jingdezhen Ceramic Archaeology Institute found Yongle carved white porcelain targets in a ditch on the east side of the south courtyard of the Imperial Kiln Factory (next to the east wall of the south gate of the former municipal government).
In 1983~1984, when the road was renovated on Zhushan Middle Road, it was cleaned and excavated in the south of the ditch, with a cleaning area of 180 square meters, and a large number of Yongle porcelain that could be restored were unearthed.

With the change of dynasties, these fragments formed a clear layered accumulation, becoming the only historical relics in China that can fully continue to reflect the production and cultural information of official kiln ceramics. This batch of porcelain was carefully repaired by ceramic archaeologists from the Jingdezhen Institute of Archaeology and the Jingdezhen Official Kiln Museum from the thousands of porcelain fragments unearthed from the Zhushan official kiln site in Jingdezhen. For more than 20 years, the cultural relics and archaeology department has cooperated with the excavation to clean up more than 10 sites where the unsuccessful tributes were buried, and restored thousands of official kiln treasures, a number of which are known as "peerless and unique products".
