In order to popularize the national fitness activities, from April 20th to 21st, the Xiangyang Amateur Tennis Championship was successfully held in the Municipal National Fitness Center and the Municipal Sports Center.
The competition has a total of youth group: orange ball group singles (U10), green ball group singles (U14), ordinary group (newcomer): men's doubles, women's doubles, elite group: men's singles, men's doubles, women's singles, women's doubles, evergreen group: men's doubles, women's doubles, Changle group (guests): mixed doubles, a total of 5 groups and 11 events.
After two days of fierce competition, the champion, runner-up, third runner-up and top five were produced. In recent years, Xiangyang tennis has received great support, attention and participation from the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and the majority of sports enthusiasts, showing a good situation of more and more venues, more and more enthusiasts, and more and more rich ages. This amateur tennis tournament has further improved the level of tennis in Xiangyang and added a different charm and fashion to the beautiful ancient city of Xiangyang.
