On that day, she was wearing a long dress. Indonesian media reported that during the photoshoot, the female tourist tripped over her long skirt as she stepped back and fell from a 75-meter-high gorge.
Due to the fact that it was around 6 a.m. and in a remote location, it took rescuers two hours to find the female tourist. And when found, the female tourist was dead. Her body was brought down the mountain at 11 a.m. that day.
Local police said the incident was an accident. The female tourist had multiple injuries on her body and a fractured left leg.
Indonesian media reported that there had been previous attempts by foreign tourists to check in and take photos in similar places and almost fell from a height.
