The May Day holiday is approaching
Do you have any plans to hang out?
At present, the tourism market ushered in the "May Day" booking peak ▼ According to the data of the tourism platform, domestic long-distance travel orders accounted for more than half of the "May Day" holiday this year, and the sinking tourism market performed outstandingly.
Wang Jining, who works in Beijing, began planning a trip for the May Day holiday in early April, and after repeated comparisons, he chose a more cost-effective tourist destination - Wuyuan, Jiangxi. Wang Jining told reporters that compared with the strict travel plan formulated in previous years, this year's "May Day" holiday planning is more relaxed, more casual, and the price is more affordable.
The reporter learned that unlike short-distance travel during the Qingming holiday, long-term tourism during the "May Day" holiday has become the protagonist, with domestic long-distance travel orders accounting for 56%, and many tourists choose the sinking market as a tourist destination. Tianshui, Xuzhou, Zibo, Hefei, Nanchang, Diqing, Jingdezhen, Shijiazhuang, Yantai, Huangshan and other cities have become the cities with the fastest growth rate of hotel bookings during the May Day holiday. At the same time, county-level tourism has also brought new growth in the tourism market.
Liu Yue, director of the public affairs department of an online travel platform: The number of hotel orders in the county market increased by 68% year-on-year, and the ticket orders for scenic spots increased by 151% year-on-year, such as Pingtan in Fujian, Wuyuan in Jiangxi, Zhengding in Hebei, etc., which are all popular county tourist destinations.
In addition, "traveling with a show" and "going to a city for a show" have become a new trend in the lifestyle of young people. On the travel platform, the search popularity of cities where concerts and music festivals are held during the "May Day" holiday is relatively high. Among them, Taiyuan thus drove the "May Day" holiday hotel orders to increase by 105% year-on-year, and foreign tourists accounted for 90%.
