1. Get rid of the influence of the original family
In 2010, I was admitted to Chengdu College of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, an ordinary school, from Longmen Middle School, a poverty-stricken county high school in Longmen County, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province.
My family of origin is particularly poor.
My father graduated from elementary school, my mother was in junior high school, and they quarreled a lot, and it didn't change until I was 30 years old. The family income is meager, and the parents rely on the meager salary of the staff to support the family.
When I was a child, my mother's monthly income was only 400, and my father's income seemed to be 600 or 700, and he could only barely eat.
Every time you beat rice crackers, you have to keep a little bit and eat them for a long time.
I am also glad that my destiny has changed through university.
Looking back now, why did I travel thousands of miles from Guangdong to Sichuan?
Because I was in high school at that time, I watched a large number of speeches by celebrities such as Kai-Fu Lee and Yu Minhong, as well as "The World is Different Because of You" and "12 Letters to College Students".
Invisibly, it broadened my horizons and helped me get rid of the influence of my original family.
Second, the first time to enter the Internet, and strive to transform into an interaction designer
After graduating, I joined a game company - Jiuyue Interactive, with a monthly income of 1800, and started to do game research and development.
Because I saw that the seniors at that time, working for 5~10 years, were also a planner, and the income was about 15,000, I realized the limitations of staying in Chengdu, so I began to prepare for the transformation into an interaction designer, at that time, I didn't socialize at all every day, I went home from work every day to exercise first, and then I cooked by myself, and after eating, I started to study until 12 o'clock in the evening, or even in the early morning. In just 3 months, I found an offer from an interaction designer in a Shanghai company.
I would like to thank my teacher at the time, Mr. Yin, for taking me to the next level, and at the same time, I would like to thank Solid Color for taking me to the next level.
Subsequently, I designed E-PORTS, the first digital service platform in China for the shipping agency industry, which also means that I have officially become a senior interaction designer. At this time, I was already able to get an offer of 20,000 yuan a month.
3. Entrepreneurs, a bold attempt
In the second half of 2016, my former boss (the owner of the first game company) invested 1 million yuan to start a short video business, so I gave up a high-paying job with a monthly income of 20,000 yuan, returned to Chengdu, and started a business.
I am the founder and CEO of Chengdu Mans Network Technology Co., Ltd., and I am actually a person who takes care of everything, not only to design products, but also to recruit teams and sort out business models.
I put a lot of effort into this venture, and it was from here that my hair became grayer, but it also became a valuable life experience for me.
At that time, many first-time entrepreneurs made the same mistake: the company began to recruit people, R&D, designers, and started to make apps when the company had not yet run through the profit model.
If I had to do it again, I would definitely be able to do better and even make this business profitable.
4. Join Kingsoft and design document products used by hundreds of millions of people
After tossing for a few years, I joined Kingsoft in 2020, and 0~1 designed Kingsoft's functional document, which is the software with the first purple icon below. At that time, I worked until 12 o'clock at night, but I was very happy, I volunteered to work overtime, and I felt a great sense of accomplishment, and once upon a time, I thought that I would stay in Jinshan for 10 years.
Later, with organizational change, I also experienced the darkness of the workplace, experienced a lot, and grew a lot, thanks to the people who helped me at that time.
5. Leave the job with a monthly income of 30,000 yuan and start the road to making money with an annual income of 1 million
In 2022, I left Kingsoft to join a global video editing software company to make a video editing product.
At this stop, I basically recognized the workplace, part-time work is actually the organizational model of the enterprise to use surplus value, and I also found that I have been consuming, consuming body and spirit, and I am contributing my own nourishment here, without absorbing and growing.
In 2023, unfortunately, one day when I came home from work, my stomach hurt all the time, it hurt all night, and it was still hurting the next day, I always thought it was because I had eaten the wrong thing, and I carried it until I got off work at night, and I still hurt, so I went to the emergency room, and the doctor told me that I had appendicitis.
The moment I pushed into the operating table, at this time, I realized why the operating table is cold, because it is all stainless steel. There were doctors standing around, about 8 people, and I was fixed on the operating table, and at this moment I was shaking all over, under anesthesia, and when I woke up, the operation was over.
At this point, I knew how fragile I was, and I couldn't adapt to the rhythm of the Internet all the time.
So, in March 2024, I proposed to leave my job and embark on my road to an annual income of one million, at this time, I knew that I already had the ability to make money independently.
