In the morning, the guests first visited the intelligent control center of the Pearl River Estuary Tunnel Project of the Shenzhen-Jiangxi Railway, and had a preliminary understanding of the project's engineering overview, construction difficulties and project progress. In particular, the "eight intelligent" tunnel construction systems of intelligent tunneling, intelligent assembly, intelligent collaboration, intelligent diagnosis, intelligent detection, intelligent component production, intelligent property management and intelligent ventilation that are being used in the Shenjiang Railway Project have attracted everyone's attention. Under the introduction of the technicians, Arnold Dix personally pressed the start button of the intelligent tunneling, and with the issuance of instructions one by one on the intelligent management and control cloud platform, the "Greater Bay Area" shield machine officially began the autonomous tunneling of the 1408th ring.
Subsequently, Dix and his entourage came to the shield launch shaft and watched the on-site demonstration of the intelligent assembly robot of the partition wall in the tunnel, the intelligent inspection vehicle of the tunnel, the intelligent assembly robot of the box culvert, etc., and felt the profound impact of intelligent technology on the improvement of tunnel construction management efficiency.
"So crazy!" and "Impressive!", the visitors sighed one after another, praising the builders of the Shenjiang Railway for maintaining the high standards of engineering construction under difficult construction conditions such as ultra-large buried depth and ultra-high water pressure, and at the same time successfully using the intelligent construction system of shield tunnels.
The Pearl River Estuary Tunnel Project of Shenjiang Railway will be a new starting point for China Railway Tunnel Bureau to promote the intelligent technology revolution and industrial revolution, based on the "eight intelligences", continuous breakthroughs and upgrades, and efforts are being made to apply the shield tunnel intelligent construction system to more key projects, injecting "new quality productivity" into the shield tunnel construction.
Subsequently, Dix and his entourage visited the Tunnel Museum, learned in detail about the glorious history of China's tunnel development, spoke highly of the achievements made by China Railway Tunnel Bureau in the field of tunnels and underground engineering, and praised the leapfrog development of China's tunnels from the original manual excavation to today's intelligent construction.
In the afternoon, Dix and his entourage came to the construction site of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor project, watched the project construction promotional video, and listened to the construction of the ultra-long steel sheet pile cofferdam with high cantilever coefficient in the sea area of the eastern artificial island of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, the protection technology of the existing highway bridges by building islands in the sea area, the high-speed construction of the open-cut tunnel under the existing river, and the cracking control of high-grade large-volume concrete. Dicks praised the project's one-time pouring of 6,000 cubic meters of high-grade large-volume concrete cracking control technology, and he said that he will continue to pay attention to the development of this technology in the future.
China Railway Tunnel Bureau takes the East Artificial Island Project of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor as the starting point to promote the technological innovation of underwater interchange construction, and continuously promotes the technological innovation of underwater interchange construction.
"Tunnels make life better", the 2024 World Tunnelling Congress, hosted by the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA) and the China Civil Engineering Society, will officially open in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province on April 22, when more than 79 countries and regions will participate in the exhibition, and it will also be the largest and largest number of participants in the previous exhibition, which is also the second time that China has hosted the World Tunnelling Congress after 34 years after 1990.
