All the past is prologue
- The poetic creation of three female artists
Text / Zhu Yuhong
The history of human art is the history of creation, and the combination of new art and technology is the road to victory in the competition. The birth of new art is the result of the connection between species, which is constantly emerging. At present, the rapid development of technology has made the "Internet of Everything" a reality, and the emergence of new art has become the norm of the times.
Zeitgeist, the German word for Zeitgeist, is like an invisible "wind" that subtly influences people's behavior, language and emotions. Today, this trend is an all-pervasive connection and integration based on technology, and a huge and subtle invisible force that affects our relationship with the world at all times.
Today, we gather under the creation of three contemporary female artists, who use their own artistic language to integrate Eastern and Western cultures, constantly challenge themselves, and draw a brilliant chapter of life.
Works by the artist Huahua
Teacher Huahua, as an amateur painter, crossed the boundaries of age and used the brush to paint the love of life and the vision of the future. Her work is an interweaving of reality and fantasy, creating a surreal world that is both busy and tranquil, which she calls "appropriation of art history", and aims to provide the viewer with unlimited space for imagination. Her paintings are accompanied by self-written poems, which blend words with visual art to convey emotions more deeply. Teacher Huahua's artistic pursuit inspires us to pursue our dreams bravely, without being bound by boundaries.
Artist Tu Juan's work Liuli Mountain (detail)
Tu Juan, a ceramic/glass artist in Shanghai, creates magnificent works of art with her mastery of materials and sculptural foundation. Her "Mountains Series" captures the magnificence of natural landscapes through glass, while "Wormhole Series" explores the concepts of time and space to construct an imaginative microcosm, while "Fusion in the Explosion" and "Emerald Dream Mirror" series reflect the interweaving of history and contemporary spirituality through the clash and harmony of materials, showing the pursuit of free spirituality. Her works are not only the pursuit of beauty, but also the respect for traditional culture and concern for contemporary society.
Works by artist Kaka
As an integrated media visual artist, Mr. Kahkah has given new life to his works through in-depth exploration of paper materials and soldering iron burning techniques. Her art is characterized by the exploration of the plasticity of paper and the philosophical reflection on fragility. Kaka's work deeply explores life, existence, and human emotion, transforming paper into a medium for conveying complex emotions and thoughts, challenging the boundaries of traditional art and asking questions about sustainability and the human condition.
Using their own unique materials as pen and inner depths as paper, the three artists jointly painted an artistic dialogue about dreams, nature and emotions. Their works show an infinite love for art and a deep understanding of life. This encounter of artistic power is not accidental, but the call of fate, which takes place in the Dahu Fanhua Art Space. The sparks from the collision of art make us feel the spiritual connection between all things, and also inspire us to explore and imagine the future.
The theme of this exhibition, "Prologue", is taken from Shakespeare's play "The Tempest", "All the past is a prologue". The original text is "what's past is prologue". For the three poetic female artists, today is not only a prologue, but also the beginning of infinite possibilities in the future.
