At present, it is the ripe picking period of morel mushrooms, and the greenhouse is busy, some people carry baskets and shuttle in the fungus shed, holding a knife to harvest briskly, and some people specially sort and pack, and the shed and outside the shed seem to be in full swing.
Morel mushroom is a kind of medicinal and edible mushroom, named because the mushroom cap is like a sheep's tripe, which has the advantages of delicious taste, short planting cycle, good economic benefits and high nutritional value, and is favored by the market. It is generally planted in winter and harvested in spring.
Ren Wenqiang, the person in charge and technical director of the morel mushroom planting base in Xiaowangying Village, told reporters that he has personally planted edible mushrooms for more than 30 years and has rich planting experience.
In the winter of 2021, Ren Wenqiang began to grow morels. Morel mushrooms have very high requirements for the growth environment, and if there is a slight accident in factors such as strains, soil, nutrition, temperature, humidity, ventilation, light, etc., morels will be stunted or even unharvested, so he rarely makes money in the first two years of planting.
"Once born, twice ripe, three times to be a master", now, Ren Wenqiang has mastered the key technology of morel mushroom planting, his morel mushroom greenhouse has developed to 37, plus his other edible mushroom planting greenhouses 10, he has become a large edible mushroom planter in the nearby ten miles and eight villages.
Ren Wenqiang told reporters that although morel mushrooms are difficult to grow, the price is high, dozens of yuan per catty of fresh, hundreds of yuan per catty of drying, and the gross profit of his annual planting of edible fungi reaches hundreds of thousands of yuan. Under his influence, more and more farmers in Xiaowangying Village are growing morels.
The "two committees" of Xiaowangying Village also took advantage of the situation, not only subleasing the idle greenhouses in the village to farmers who were willing, skilled and laborious, but also set up a technical guidance group for morel mushroom planting, with Ren Wenqiang as the team leader.
